We have a small area in our Alpaca pasture designated for campers. We are a short drive (2miles) to down town Hermiston.  Our ranch has been here since the 1940's and has decreased in size since its days as a potato farm. The Alpacas are shy but curious. They are not dangerous but do not like dogs 🐕‍🦺 and other small animals. (Please keep pets on a leash) We remove the Alpacas and mow the camping areas but please keep in mind that this is a pasture that is used when campers are not present. Please be prepared. This is a working ranch and there will be animals🦙 , bugs🐜 , and poop💩 in the pasture. 

River Front Park on the Umatilla River is within walking distance and the Columbia River is a short drive. In the summer we have several farms in the area with fresh produce for sale and&nbsp; Blueberry picking just down the road. You won't want to leave town without picking up a world famous Hermiston Watermelon! Come stay with us "Where Life is Sweet!"

Echo River Farms

-Please note there is train that runs through the town of Echo and can be heard from the property. Consider bringing ear plugs. 

Please note: The Echo Corn Maze is adjacent to the property and is open in 2025 from Fri Sept. 26 — Sat Nov. 8. Hours are Fridays: 2 PM – 10 PM, Saturdays: 11 AM – 10 PM, Sundays: 11 AM – 6 PM. There is a haunted maze Oct. 18, 25, 31 from 7-9pm which could be heard from sites. Visit echocornmaze.com for more info. 

Peebler Camp

This campsite is a pull thru road that has a sun and wind block overlooking local farm fields. Please note that SELF-CONTAINED vehicles are required for this site, as this is a dry camp with no water access or restrooms.  Camp is two miles from freeway exit yet miles from any home other than the working homestead that was started in 1890 with huge barn built in 1906 next door. This is a great place to rest for the night or a week.  - simple, safe, and private out of the way.  From I-84 you will take exit 198 for Lorenzen/McClintock Rd. Turn onto Lorenzen. Drive one mile until you get to an intersection next to a grain bin. Turn left (west) and drive for almost one mile. As you near the two openings for the site, you will see the sun shelter directly on your left. You want to turn at the 2nd opening, by the sign that says IN. You can pull up right next to the shelter and set up your space however you like. That way, when you leave you will exit by the sign that says OUT and be headed back towards the interstate like you came. 

This site is 12 miles west from the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up. 8 miles east of Echo Ridge Winery, Sno Road Winery, Echo historical museum, and Echo Golf Course. Simple dining can be found in Echo at H and P cafe and in nearby Stanfield at Broken Barrel Restaurant/Bar with great burgers.

Brown Barrel TC

Brown Barrel TC is a country like setting within city limits. It is located less than 10 minutes from Highway 395. A peaceful setting near a seasonal creek gives you the opportunity to experience urban accessibility and a tranquil, rural ambiance. 

This property gives you the getaway you are looking for in a safe environment in city limits. It is close to all the amenities in the city including restaurants, wineries, parks, and the Columbia River!

Water flows down the creek from mid April to mid October.

For years the property was a fruit orchard located close in to town. 

Over the years crops have evolved.  Now we grow pumpkins, garlic, sweet corn and —lavender!

Crockett Road Lavender Farm is located close in to Walla Walla wine country on paved roads.  We are just off the main highway between Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla     Easy to access for all size RVs on all paved roads. All campers are welcome to pick a spot&nbsp;on our spacious lush lawns surrounded by fragrant lavender fields.  Pets are welcome and feel free to wander our alfalfa hay fields and long rows of colorful lavender.   We are close to all the area attractions, wineries, golf courses, restaurants and historic sites  Crockett Road Lavender Farm  an active lavender producing operation and a country themed lavender boutique is on site if you wish to shop!

One note--We do not have full RV hookups.   Both Hipcamp sites on the farm do have water hooks.  And, in a pinch, we can get power to you if absolutely needed.   But there are no sewer hookups and no official electricity hookups.

Conveniently situated just 3 miles from Milton Freewater and 10 miles from Walla Walla, it offers easy access to both the Blue Mountains and the picturesque rolling hills of the farm for leisurely strolls.

Rhea Siding

Over 100 years ago this historic location was once a “Siding” (loading zone) along the railroad where hundreds of sheep would board from the nearby ranches. Today, it’s a desolate, 160 acres of high desert sage where the only noise you hear at night are the coyotes. Just five miles off of I-84, ten minutes from Arlington, and 25 from Boardman. Full hookup and wifi included.

Mill Creek Farm/Park

Seclusion awaits you on this 40-acre property nestled in a park-like setting on an active farm with sheep and cows. As you explore, you'll often spot turkeys and deer freely roaming the land.

Choose your camping spot tucked away in a treed meadow, where the soothing sound of Mill Creek flows directly behind you, offering over a half-mile of river access for fishing or recreation. Just off old HWY 12, affectionately dubbed the wine highway, numerous wineries dot the landscape, with town just minutes away.

This property offers the best of both worlds: the tranquility of camping in the trees and the convenience of nearby amenities.

Last Chance Glass and Getaway

Last Chance Glass Getaway is a small eleven acre farm exceptionally situated in the gorgeous Walla Walla Valley. There are level access and pull through camp sites&nbsp;along the Burlingame Canal and the South fork of the Little Walla Walla river (a creek). Enjoy nature here on the Old Oregon trail in the form of beaver ponds, coyote song, deer trails, bird watching and star gazing - just a half mile from the historic Whitman Mission. 

Park on the partial pavement (Mountain and Garden Sites) or drive gently on the grass to one of the well separated sites. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit. 

There is self service firewood for sale. Fresh eggs most days. Both available as an "extra" on the app. ($10, $5)

Orchard Site and Park Site are shady and cool on the north side of the drive. Park is nestled in the trees next to the barn. Orchard site has mature trees for both shade and sunshine. Park site has it's own water spigot and is within reach of a 110amp electrical outlet with your extension cord. No A/C or high amp use please.  

Mountain Site and Garden site are both situated along the Burlingame Canal, a historic waterway and engineering marvel worth googling. Both have an unobstructed east facing view of farmland and the Blue Mountains - perfect for full moons and sunrises. These two sites are generally in the shade around dinner time. Note: The canal is empty August and Sept

Creekside Site is the newest site. Fully fenced. Full hook up. Private and secluded.

Owners request that you don't throw anything for the friendly working border collies, if you see one. The farm is 7 miles from downtown Walla Walla. 4 miles to Walmart super center.

Ricks Exercise Farm

Our farm is located in the center of the Yakima Valley in Southeastern Washington State. The physical address is 3510 Scoon Road Sunnyside, Washington. The Valley is known as the fruit bowl of the nation. The site is located on a farm that has been in production on the Roza slope 4 miles north of Sunnyside since 1945. Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. The Yakima Valley has thousands of acres of wine grapes, hops, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and vegetables. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. Several microbreweries are also accessible and within 50 miles to the west you’ll be in premier hiking in the Cascades.
When arriving or at departure please make sure the padlocks on both man gate and drive in gates are UNLOCKED. Thank you

Milk A Sheep Camp at Tin Willows

Didn't know you could milk a sheep? Or thought only cows made cheese?  Try your hand milking sheep or feeding lambs or learning about beavers on this seasonal working ranch here in Eastern Oregon. Lambs are born in the spring and their moms are milked all summer long. 

I raise my sheep on fresh grass and sunshine. Come see for yourself here on the ranch.

Pitch a tent on the pasture and literally count the sheep around you before falling asleep or climb the hill and see for miles in every direction. We may be close to the road, but it doesn't feel like it.

We can accommodate campers, RVs, trucks, tents, and vans. 4 sites to chose from.

Each site has access to an outhouse, potable water, picnic tables, trash disposal, and we allow campfires (outside of burn bans), and pets.

We also sell fresh eggs, firewood, and lamb sausage.

Our guests love staying with us: "There’s fireside fun in fresh country air, rolling hills around the farm to walk along to enjoy the wide expansive view, and sights and sounds of animals around camp to make for a relaxing day. There’s kittens, dairy sheep, gigantic but friendly herd dogs, and a variety of guinea hens and ducks. Terry is super kind and friendly. Try the sheep’s milk ice cream- what a treat!"

Pirate River

Grassy area with trees on the bank of the Yakima River. Quiet and peaceful. Fully functional air conditioned restrooms. Private outdoor shower. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate station on site. Small campfires are allowed all year in designated spots. There are mosquitos so be prepared for that! During the summer months, the Yakima River is perfect for kayaking,  paddleboarding, canoeing,  float tubes, or just swimming. Catfish and bass are the main fish here and fishing is good most of the time.
