Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Great, private one night stay. Host Mark was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him. We walked the trails around our site with our dogs and hiss dog, Augie. Augie is also very friendly. Mark left us fire wood and offered us water in our tank which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Hurlys Hideaway

We had a lovely 2 nights here. It is quiet and felt like we were way out in the Forest. Mark’s place is well thought out with nicely spaced sites. It’s all uphill from the road and each site seems well positioned to minimize seeing neighbors. We stayed in site #1, looking onto the orchard (tasty apples and Asian pears!). Deer frequent this area for the apples. The sites have a level spot for tent and/or sleeping vehicles. (I wouldn’t want to get up that hill with a long RV or trailer, though.) There are picnic tables, a fire ring supplied with firewood, as well as a fire shovel and bucket for water. There are clean porta pots here and there as well as potable water. Auggie, the friendly black lab, comes to visit everyone, I think, and spent a good amount of time lounging around and wrestling with our pup, which was fun.

I booked a last minute reservation and headed to the coast. This was a nice little spot to pitch a tent. The sites were clearly marked and seemed to have a decent amount of space between them. There were walking trails and nearby porta potties if needed. The owner’s were very responsive and friendly on the app.

This is a great site! It has all the amenities of a state park campground, but is much quieter and more private. The site is surrounded by forest, and is right next to some walking trails. It's a really peaceful spot, close to Tillamook, and a perfect place to stay while exploring the area!

29 nights at Snoen Beach Campout

Your home away from home. This camp site is large, secluded, very quiet, private and safe. The locals in the area are respectful and quiet. The full hookups worked exactly as they should. The roads in the area are very good for biking or walking. The beach is close and at low tide you can ride even a road bike on the beach. There were no annoying bugs and I only saw one mosquito in a month. There were deer, bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks that frequent the area. There is no cell signal at the camp site, but at the beach there is. If you bring a starlink it works. I highly recommend this site, from what I saw it is the largest and most private campsite on the entire peninsula.

2 nights at Beach Camp - Long Beach Peninsula

Great experience. We went Sunday-Tuesday so we had the whole campground to ourselves. Even the other side that’s not hosted by this person. The lot is split in half with two owners both found on Hipcamp. Had a fire pit, porta-potty, a private gate entrance, very clean, edged with tall beautiful evergreens, trails around the camp site, wildlife all around. We saw deer cross through the campsite Monday night. You do have to bring your own water. There is no water on site. We found free water at pioneer market in Long Beach. (Jacks country store does not help with water from a spigot) You can’t walk to the beach, it says it’s a 1/4 mile but we did not find any beach walking distance. The closest was a 8 min drive(3 miles). The camp spot is on grass but there are gopher heads that kept getting on my daughter’s foot (1 yr old, so it’s a big deal 😂), riddled along the drive way and edges of campsite. Have to wear shoes all the time to be safe and I’m glad I didn’t take my dog. It would have been a hassle. Other that that, the campsite is a 4 out of 5 in my opinion. No Water, gophers heads, and the misleading about the beach is why it didn’t get 5.

Great place for a stop. Sites 1-3 are large enough for groups. The provided outhouse is clean, and well maintained. It is a nice quiet spot for families. Not far from there is Pacific Pines State Park. It's a nice change from Long Beach. More remote so you can spread out some. Dog owners: Great spot, but look carefully at their paws and fur. Somewhere nearby we picked up puncture vine seeds in our vehicle tires. I don't know where exactly. We looked carefully around in the gravel and saw a couple, but nothing in campsite 3 where we stayed.

Mark’s place is the perfect place to camp when visiting the Tillamook/coast area. It’s easy to find, quiet, and private. There’s plenty of opportunity to take in the beautiful surroundings and wildlife. The orchard sites are great for star gazing. If you’re a dog person you’ll be delighted when visited by the host dog, Auggie. Host, Mark, is welcoming and hospitable. I would recommend this place to anyone is looking for a good place to stay while exploring the beautiful region.
