Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

This is my most favorite Hipcamp, the setting was like a state park, the host was very welcoming. Sites vary between Forest camping and Orchard camping, I was in a big van so I took the Orchard. Incredible views and enjoyed walking around the land. Definitely will stay again when I’m in the area. Don’t be put off by the steep driveway, a UPS truck makes it up and down!

Great, private one night stay. Host Mark was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him. We walked the trails around our site with our dogs and hiss dog, Augie. Augie is also very friendly. Mark left us fire wood and offered us water in our tank which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Hurlys Hideaway

We had a lovely 2 nights here. It is quiet and felt like we were way out in the Forest. Mark’s place is well thought out with nicely spaced sites. It’s all uphill from the road and each site seems well positioned to minimize seeing neighbors. We stayed in site #1, looking onto the orchard (tasty apples and Asian pears!). Deer frequent this area for the apples. The sites have a level spot for tent and/or sleeping vehicles. (I wouldn’t want to get up that hill with a long RV or trailer, though.) There are picnic tables, a fire ring supplied with firewood, as well as a fire shovel and bucket for water. There are clean porta pots here and there as well as potable water. Auggie, the friendly black lab, comes to visit everyone, I think, and spent a good amount of time lounging around and wrestling with our pup, which was fun.

Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

Mark’s land is a gem of a place to stay! 4b is private, cozy, and has a view. Some road noise but didn’t bother us one bit- we loved hearing the cows talk. His dog, Auggie, and our dog were quick friends. Wouldn’t suggest this site unless you have 4wd! Although, you could park at the bottom of the hill and walk your stuff up if you’re tent camping. Great access to all the coast has to offer. Mark is very kind and makes sure his campers are happy! Will definitely stay here again:)

This was a great spot to camp for a couple of nights! Marc was an excellent host, very accommodating when we wanted to switch sites, checking in, bringing us firewood, and just overall friendly and welcoming. We loved the privacy, peace, and the bonus was the cat and dog! Thanks for a great stay!

I booked a last minute reservation and headed to the coast. This was a nice little spot to pitch a tent. The sites were clearly marked and seemed to have a decent amount of space between them. There were walking trails and nearby porta potties if needed. The owner’s were very responsive and friendly on the app.

This is a great site! It has all the amenities of a state park campground, but is much quieter and more private. The site is surrounded by forest, and is right next to some walking trails. It's a really peaceful spot, close to Tillamook, and a perfect place to stay while exploring the area!

Weekend Trip to LivingWell Nature Spirit Sanctuary

Beautiful homestead property located inland from the Oregon coast. Property has creek access directly adjacent to camping spot, with both bank sides being able for use. Once camp was set up with tent, I was able to use the kitchen facilities to prepare proper meals. Plenty of counter space, and even a nice meal table for 4 was available in the semi outdoor and enclosed room. This saved the need for use of my own burners and such. The property had plenty to explore, with a bridge to access the nature trails leading into the forest. The hosts were wonderful to meet. I was given a tour and I even received a wonderful yoga lesson during my stay. I enjoyed getting to know them both. Overall, the LivingWell campsite was a wonderful experience, and was quite happy with having nicer kitchen amenities. There is quite a bit to discover here.
