This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

We enjoyed this sweet, quiet, treed little spot. There was a bit of daytime street noise but nothing continuous or extremely loud. The nights were very peaceful.
Linda is very friendly. There was a trash can, recycle bin, and bucket of water at the sight.
We have a 21ft travel trailer. Backing skills a must, and a spotter recommended as the path back to sight is narrow and has a bit of a curve to it.
Perfect spot to overnight after enjoying the nearby lakes, swimming hole, and State Park.

The campsite was amazing! There were two sites nearby but it still felt very quiet and private. The whole land is very large and my dog had a blast playing within the fenced dog yard. The river trail was also fun to hike. A little cold to swim but my dog had no complaints wading. We also bought amazing honey from their local bee farm. The only things we had complaints about was not about what they could control: our neighbors had their dogs off-leash and one of their dogs pooped near our site, and the gunshots that could be heard pretty close by spooked our dog. But overall highly recommend!

We love camping here so peaceful, private and relaxing ! Terry and Barb are great people and host they make you feel welcomed and make sure your stay is everything you wanted. The coyote cabin site is great for a group or just a family . Cabin is a wonderful added feature to hang out in or have family sleep in . Make sure to stop in and see Barbs art it is beautiful and get a thing of the honey so delicious.

My partner and I absolutely loved the time we spent at this site. Jeremy (our host) was there to greet us on day 1 to show us the lay of the land. Jeremy's enthusiasm while showing us around let us know he was truly sharing something special. We had our choice of 3 fire pits and multiple places to pitch our tent. We chose to set up by the middle fire pit and use "the pit" fire pit.( Located in a cozy crater)
Very close by our tent was a waterfall that provided the perfect soundtrack for our whole stay. I was shocked at how well we both slept.
It was easy to get lost looking at all the large rock formations, moss, lichen, and trees around us.
It was simply magical.

Pit Fall Campgrounds was the perfect getaway for me, my two dogs, and friend. You can hear some road noise, but it’s not too distracting. We all left feeling refreshed after our stay, and Jeremy was very welcoming and easy to talk to.

This is an amazing place! The host is lovely, the campsite is beautiful, and the tree tent is a lot of fun. The site is surrounded by forest, and it has a lot of nice personal touches, like freshly picked flowers, that make it feel extra special. It's a quiet, peaceful spot. I definitely recommend staying here!

Really nice spot especially if you want to have the space for your kids to run around. The property was maintained extremely well and hosts were friendly. Everything was super easy to navigate and there are places near by to enjoy the water. We drove to kinswa state park and stayed there for the day to do some swimming and fishing. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

This spot is as good a place as Delphine is a host (which is really good). I loved staying here - the childlike fun and wonder of a tree tent; Thumper, the dog; the beautiful land. Highly recommend opting for the home cooked meal, as Delphine is an amazing cook. I hope to return, and I highly recommend!
