This campsite is a pull thru road that has a sun and wind block overlooking local farm fields. Camp is two miles from freeway exit yet miles from any home other than the working homestead that was started in 1890 with huge barn built in 1906 next door. This is a great place to rest for the night or a week. - simple, safe, and private out of the way. From I-84 you will take exit 198 for Lorenzen/McClintock Rd. Turn onto Lorenzen. Drive one mile until you get to an intersection next to a grain bin. Turn left (west) and drive for almost one mile. As you near the two openings for the site, you will see the sun shelter directly on your left. You want to turn at the 2nd opening, by the sign that says IN. You can pull up right next to the shelter and set up your space however you like. That way, when you leave you will exit by the sign that says OUT and be headed back towards the interstate like you came. This is a dry camp with no water access or restrooms. This site is 12 miles west from the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up. 8 miles east of Echo Ridge Winery, Sno Road Winery, Echo historical museum, and Echo Golf Course. Simple dining can be found in Echo at H and P cafe and in nearby Stanfield at Broken Barrel Restaurant/Bar with great burgers.

Our farm is located in the center of the Yakima Valley in Southeastern Washington State. The physical address is 3510 Scoon Road Sunnyside, Washington. The Valley is known as the fruit bowl of the nation. The site is located on a farm that has been in production on the Roza slope 4 miles north of Sunnyside since 1945. Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. The Yakima Valley has thousands of acres of wine grapes, hops, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and vegetables. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. Several microbreweries are also accessible and within 50 miles to the west you’ll be in premier hiking in the Cascades. We loved camping on their land. It was very peaceful and cozy. No other campers, just us. We appreciated how most of the yard was fenced. Having well behaved dogs, we didnt have to tether them. The owners were very kind and easy to work with. Even left us some fresh corn from their garden. We stayed here for the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival in Prosser. Location was perfect. Lots to do in the area too. We will be back! Thank you!!

Some of the wood used came from a 100 year old coal barn.

Basic site but it was well kept and serene surroundings. Nothing to do so more a place to land for the evening . I suggest getting there before dark bc it might be difficult to find plus you'd miss the sunset which is wonderful. You can hear hwy 84 but it's background. The wind through the corn was what we heard most through the night

We stayed at peepler campsite in our 24’ trailer and it worked out great for us. It was quiet. The road noise in the far distance sounded a bit like the ocean so it actually added to the atmosphere. This was my first HipCamp experience ever & what a knockout! I saw evidence of people at the top of the hill, but did not see another human during my stay, which was great! Cat was very responsive to messages, and let me move to the site nearer the toilet that had a picnic table. I wandered the forest roads a bit, collecting a few agates, then had a very restful night among the scrub oak and pines. It's not far from the highway, but feels very remote & has beautiful mountain vistas. Thank you!

Wow. Just wow. This treehouse exceeded all our expectations! What a wonderful night we had celebrating my husband’s birthday. We BBQ’d on the deck, explored the grounds with our golden retriever and slept in the trees and under the stars. The outdoor shower was wonderful and the outdoor toilet was 100/10! We even had a resident tree frog visit the deck as well. We will definitely be back!

5 nights at B&B Treehouse Ranch

Three of us (Grandmother, mom, grandson) enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay at Scott's Private Treehouse With Amazing View. The beds were very comfortable, the tiny kitchen area had just what we needed to make our own modest meals, and the convenience of a plumbed toilet and shower was awesome! This was luxurious compared to the tent camping we usually do. We were there in August and lucked out on comfortable weather in the mid-70s with night-time breezes wafting through the cabin at night. AC was available if needed, though. I haven't slept so well in years! The sunset view of Mt. Hood was lovely, and the stars at night inspiring. A great base of operations for Columbia River explorations.
