This 55 acre park is home of a large sandstone that contains 8 markings believed to have been made by Vikings many years ago. The park features a seasonal waterfall, covered picnic areas, playground, amphitheater with seating, community building, scenic views, gift shop and approximately 2 miles of nature trails. Be advised that most tent sites have a tent pad but a few are primitive. The RV sites are not typical with limited hook-ups and no dump station. Restroom and shower facilities are located within the park. Forest setting while still close to stores in case of forgotten items but the gift shop is stocked with camping supplies, as well. Variety of small wildlife in the area. All sites allow campfires UNLESS we are under a county wide burn ban. *Note moderate cancellation policy for most dates - full refund 3 days before check-in time. April 5 - 11, 2024 there is a strict cancellation policy - full refund within 30 days of check-in.

A portion of the land is open and allows for tents, rv campfires and hammocks to be enjoyed. If you forget something or need some restaurant style food, then a short 10 minute drive into town will satisfy that craving. Lots of large natural trees and fesh clean air. During the rainy season, a small creek will form flowing down to the lake.

Privacy camping with bath houses and lake Eufaula just down the street! Camping can be in a hammock with trees close enough to hang your hammock, there’s ample room for up to three 2-man tents, pop up camper or even a small RV. Parking available for two vehicles in the drive way. There is a picnic table with a bench on each side, there's a trash can and inside is a bucket for restroom at the land. When I camp I set up a privacy area with tarps to be able to use for the bathroom and changing. A double fire pit for different cooking areas and lots of broken branches for burning. Keep alert of the burn ban times and never leave a fire burning when you leave. Feel free to get creative with the space for your camping adventure and have lots of fun!
