Keep going if you please. It’s 1.8 Million acres of wilderness made just for you! A true hunters paradise teeming with deer and other wildlife. The national forest is also accessible via Roger’s Pass and an easement. Bring your ATVs!If you like spectacular sunrises then this is the place for you. Just pray you have enough disk space on your camera! The Legendary Talimena Byway is just a few miles down the road; a 54 mile winding wonderland across the backs of the mighty Winding Stair and Ridge Mountains with dozens of pull-offs and vistas that are a feast for the senses. There is enough land that you can really be comfortable here and have a nice secluded peaceful time. Many oaks on the property and even oak firewood!! There was even a kindling pile ready to go when I arrived— there are a lot of small details like that.
It’s a real treat and a great weekend if you like fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, or just hanging out! Definitely recommend it 😇 !!

Jeana had great communication! She answered all my questions leading up to our reservation. She also gave me lots of great information about the campsite and what was available or what we would need to bring ourselves. Although we did not get to stay at her place in the end, which was entirely on our end, we do plan on doing so in the future. We were absolutely happy with Jeana, her communication, information provided, questions answered and her follow up.

We really enjoyed the view from the porch and the night sky! We did bring an ez-up, which gave us a place to hang out during the rain—the porch is obviously quite small. It was a short weekend, but it was the quiet, private place we were looking for!

Weekend Trip to Kiamichi Mounds
This place is awesome! First the host was great. Answered any questions i had and was very quick to communicate. The location is beautiful and peaceful right on the banks of the river with easy access to the water w a gravel bar and rock outcroppings. You have plenty of privacy and seclusion but it is only 5 min to town so very convenient too. They had fishing poles to use and i caught a fish on my 2nd cast. The area was all mowed around camp and very clean. There was a canoe and kayaks to use, a bbq grill to cook on, a fire pit with a fire already setup and plenty of firewood provided. The camper is older but perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to set up tents too. Drue and his family obviously put a lot of effort into setting this up and making sure i had everything i could need. I’ll definitely be back.

I had an amazing time staying here. Things didn't work out how I planned, due to the weather. The host was extremely helpful and verg accomodating with the changes. But it was a beautiful place with an amazing view. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I'm excited to see when it's all done. Me and Vincent very much enjoyed our stay. 😊😊

Jeana is an awesome host. The camping spot is a wooded mountainside with plenty of room to explore and roam. The dogs loved it and we had a great time! There's a cabin and established RV spot being built on the land.

Great spot for a weekend getaway. The cabin has everything you'd need from cooking oil to utensils. You can stop at the grocery store, grab some food and head down and not need anything else to have a great time.
