Beautiful spot, only 15 minutes from Old Man’s Cave. Jimbos Burgers is a good spot for food only 5-6 minutes away. Spot 1 had plenty of trees for Hammock camping, and plenty of space for tents as well. The fire ring was perfect, and we felt safe in this spot! We definitely recommend and plan to be back :D

First off, communication was great from the start. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by Margie’s husband and their adorable dog. The property is really pretty. Not really remote but definitely had a feeling of enough privacy. We had our tiny teardrop trailer and stayed at Site #1 at the very front of the property. We would definitely stay here again if needing to be really close to all the trails in the Hocking Hills region.

It became a tradition to come too John and Julie at their site with friends! We love the commodity of the gazebo, the shade, the showers and the kitchen with all the convenience. It is always beautifully maintained and we always have such a great time. We rented the 3 sites and come with a group of friend. We had a great time and plan to come back before the winter!

Beautiful location and grounds. Three well dispersed campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. There’s a pavilion with flush toilets, showers, a refrigerator and a large covered concrete area. They also built a stage area where they plan on doing more concerts. John and Julie were great hosts. We were there for three nights. John greeted us to show us the lay of the land and then stopped by the next day to make sure we had everything we needed. Julie gifted us some of her beautiful natural handmade soaps. We really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here! What made our time so special wasn’t just the Hocking Hills attractions — it was this place and these people. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family, and that meant more to us than words can express. I haven’t felt part of a big, warm family in a long time, and it turns out, my whole family needed that too. This experience renewed my faith in kindness and reminded me what family can feel like. They fed us, made sure we were comfortable, and even put on an incredible fireworks show — with front row seats! The property itself is magical. There’s a small cave to explore right on site, and a quiet little creek that became my favorite spot. In the early morning, with sunlight streaming through the trees, campfire smoke curling into the air, and the water gently running by, it felt like stepping into a fairytale forest. That creek also became my refuge on the hot summer afternoons — it was perfect for cooling off. They’re dog friendly and our dog needed that freedom to run. We already can’t wait to go back. Thank you guys.

We had such a great time up here! John and Julie were so welcoming and kind! The area was in a beautiful field tucked away on a hilltop. The area was very private, and each campsite was spread out, if each were full it would still feel private. The land was very well maintained, and so were the bathrooms! It was so nice to have the luxury of a private bathroom and shower while camping, especially on a hot day. The trail and walkways around the fields were fun to explore and full of butterflies and birds! It was also close to town too, so it was easy to head in to visit some of my Athens favorites :) I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and will be back! I think this would be a really great spot to come back with a group of friends!
