The modern, yet cozy, Carpenter's Cabin has a small footprint of 934sf but explodes with over 1700sf of interior living space over four floors and another 600sf is available on the three decks. The cabin boasts two owner's bedrooms, two bunk rooms, and one alcove bed in the library to sleep up to eight adults and twelve total guests. Three full baths round out the private spaces. Located 15 min. from Chillicothe, 5 min. from Tecumseh, 30 min. from Hocking Hills parks, the property offers rolling fields and woodlands, private hiking, two ponds, and scenic views in a peaceful, natural setting. I'll only do the RV alone a week out if the days are open.

Amazing campground, and Austin & Kate were awesome. Highly recommend whether it's hot or cold, this place takes care of you. And be sure to just buy their wood for your fires, it's cheaper than Kroger, and it burns way longer. Can't wait to bring my kids here, they'd have an absolute blast. The Sugar Shack is the perfect secluded primitive stay! Be prepared to take one of the wagons if you packed a lot of stuff. Aimee did a fantastic job utilizing her land for campers, It’s family friendly and there’s plenty to do. The wood burning stove was the perfect addition to our cold autumn evenings, it makes it so cozy while settling in for the night. When we first got there, Aimee had the stove packed for us already and a bundle of wood. I would recommend a trip here 10/10!!

The cabin is a little small, but it comfortably housed my wife and I. Everything was very clean with all of the amenities that we needed for the weekend. A very nice spot for a weekend retreat for two people. There's also a huge stack of western and war DVDs if you want to check those out!

Deer Haven is a WONDERFUL property! Brent literally has just about everything you will need during your stay in the cabin. It is secluded, peaceful and clean! Every morning you walk outside to a picture perfect view. We caught and released some bass, bluegill and more out of the pond, the trails around the property have a clear path to walk through and the hot tub was very clean and relaxing. We throughly enjoyed our time here and we are already planning our next stay at Deer Haven! A huge thank you to Brent and his cleaning crew for everything! We can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing spot & amazing time. Robert & Maria do such an awesome time taking care of the spot, it really is an oasis in Bellefontaine, even the bathroom situation is spotless. I 100% recommend! I went solo this time, but I'll definitely be back with my kids! Weekend Trip to Woody Acres

We rented the cabin here for the weekend and it was so peaceful, clean and cute! They also allow dogs so it was even more fun having our pup there with us. The trails on the property are nice to walk plus there’s a lot of other trails nearby. The other rentals and tent spots were far enough away from one another to have privacy which was also nice. Overall it was a great stay on a beautiful piece of land.

This cozy a-frame cabin has a full-sized bed with a comfy memory foam mattress. Clean bedding provided.

Such a cute and unique place! I originally got Hipcamp to find some places for tent camping but thought the cabin was too cute. We loved the whole set up and farm. It’s private and well cared for. We loved the veggie and produce stand by the firewood. We also had a lovely farm cat stay with us for the second evening which was adorable. We are not afraid of bugs and spend most weekends camping but there were definitely a surplus of stink bugs in the cabin which made me a bit meh, mostly they were present in the daytime so not terrible at night. Guessing just a seasonal thing but definitely something to consider if you’re weird with bugs. Otherwise, everything was perfect!!
