I started this 2 acre homestead! It is home to myself, my four dogs, turkeys, and some chickens. I’m very close to all the creature comforts like Walmart and Target, but the property is wooded on three sides so you feel like you’ve gotten away from the city. There is a small creek my dogs love to play in and a large field for frisbee and star gazing. There are hikes close by at Little Turtle Pond and many restaurants within 10 minutes like Woodys for breakfast and dinner at NauitiVine. If you enjoy boating Nimistila Reservoir (electric only very kayak friendly) and Portage Lakes are a quick 12 minute drive. I look forward to meeting you soon!

In the fenced Tipi Village compound area there is a large Tipi on a wooden deck, a small play tipi for kids. This was my first wintertime van-camping outing with just the kids and I. The site was quiet and very inviting. It is also far enough out of the city-centers to look forward to stargazing on a future visit, when the sky is hopefully clear. Our hosts were very inviting and friendly. While there are not a lot of amenities, this is a perfect dry-camping spot for those on the road, as well as those more local (such as myself) who just need to get out of the house for a night or a weekend. The geese and such in the barn are also noticeable, but are not noisy as such to be an issue. Overall, we look forward to visiting this site again!

Jason and Marcie's place was practically perfect! I was in town for a concert and needed a place nearby the casino to rest and begin following day exploring CVNP. It's peaceful and roomy, but still within a few minutes of restaurants, retail , etc if you need to run an errand.
Marcie greeted me shortly after arrival and made sure I knew where everything was. She answered all my questions and was ok with me coming back late after the show. I was the only Hipcamper that night so I had the whole place to myself!

We loved chatting with them and exploring their beautiful property…from canoeing on the pond and spotting fish to picking fresh berries near our site. The location couldn’t have been better: perfectly situated near Cuyahoga National Park, farm stands, and plenty of local attractions/amenities.
