Myhio Haven Horse Farm

Established in 1983 on a 60-acre plot of land right in the Shawnee State Forest. The property is beautiful with flat land, fields, and at the back are the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains. We put a horse farm on the land in 2000. The horses here are my family and I want to expand and offer more opportunities on the land. That's when I came across Hipcamp! I'm excited to share a piece of my heaven that I'm fortunate enough to call home.

Yatesville Lake State Park surrounds our neighborhood. beautiful scenery, creek walks to the Lake, Golf Course 5 min away. lots of wildlife. over 150 species of birds identified. eagles nest 10 min. away. great fishing at the lake. miles of trails available on our place and adjacent State Park. our greenhouses and fields we farm are nearby. easy access to campsites.

Scenic Hills - Amish Country

Property is located about 2 miles from the small town of Oak Hill. The area has a Welsh heritage and offers a Welsh museum. Once a prominent brick manufacturing area. Today the area is home to a decent size Old Order Amish community. You will see horses and buggies daily and there are several Amish businesses open to the public including a huge greenhouse, a hardware and bait & tackle store  and a bulk food store to name a few. Our area is also a popular stop for hunters of all types since we are close to Wayne National Forest and Cooper Hollow Wildlife area. We need to mention that pets are welcome but need to be on leash or contained at all times due to horses and other animals that are nearby. There is also 4 dogs who live on the property and are always on patrol :) They keep the monsters away but are welcoming to our guests! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Small family owned camping area (4 spaces) located in southern Ohio in the heart of an Old Order Amish community. You will actually be located directly behind an amish home. Secluded area surrounded mostly by woods. Listen to the sounds of horse an buggy or take a short trip and enjoy the lake.

Rush Creek RV Campsite

Experience our small and private RV sites in a quiet location in the rural town of Rush, near Ashland KY. We provide full hook ups with 30 amp electric connection, water, and sewage. We also provide wifi throughout the property.

We are an 8 minute drive from Rush Off-Road - a 7,000 acre off-road park with over 100 miles of trails with new trails being opened up regularly.

The RV sites can accommodate up to a 50 ft RV or trailer as well as parking for an additional car or truck. The site dimensions are 30ft wide by 60ft long.

Your RV/trailer must be self-contained as we do not have a toilet onsite. The sites are flat and guests will have to back-in. 

Pets are welcome but you must keep them on leash.

Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban.

Camp Creek

I have approximately 4 acres meadow and flat for RV’s. The other 9 acres contain a creek with several swimming holes and trails for hiking.  Scioto River is 15 minutes away and Lake white is 20-25 minutes drive time. Fishing, Swimming, boating, kayaking is available at these two large bodies of water.
