Artemis Gardens BnB is more than just a place to sleep (in cozy, enchanting bedrooms) and eat (delicious food the host makes for you). It’s an eclectic oasis nestled within nature, infused with art, and just a few miles from Dayton - very convenient if you’re attending an event or visiting someone in Ohio! I live on the property in a separate cabin, with three indoor cats - Artemis, Luna, and Nemo. They can hang with you or I can keep them away depending on your preference. When I book individual rooms, I fix breakfast for my guests. When the entire cabin is booked, I can still provide breakfast or you can have the place all to yourself. The cabin is rustic, some of the native plants can be prickly, and pollinators are everywhere - including the honeybees with stingers (who live in three different natural hives on the property). In other words, stay aware of your surroundings. • Stroll among the flowers, fresh air, and sounds of nature. • Enjoy homemade breakfast noms in the sunroom. • Check out a book from the home library. • Get the band back together in the music lounge. • Dip into the art supplies if inspiration strikes. • Close the curtains and nap anytime in your own private bedroom made for a goddess. • Gather your friends, book all three of the rooms, and reconnect for a weekend. • Meet new friends by mingling with fellow guests in the safe, inclusive shared spaces. • It’s only five miles back to the BnB if you’re going to a show at Rose Music Center. • Take a five minute drive to see Charleston Falls and hike. • Need a picnic packed or candlelight dessert setup? You got it. • Build a fire outside. • Craft culinary creations in the stocked and equipped kitchen. • Finish the novel you started writing. • Finish the tv show you started watching. • Enjoy the view of the stars from the back deck or while perched in the Lyra hoop in the sunroom.

Note from host ! Hello Hipcampers, another summer has past us by and as cold weather approaches we realize people still travel. We will still take campers as long as you’re self sufficient . There will be a portable toilet on premises . Thank you. Experience the tranquility of a quiet country setting just minutes away from shopping, dining, and Summit Lake State Park, Winchester Speedway (for those racing fans) and less than a half-hour from an array of entertainment options. Nestled on 10 acres of family-owned, serene countryside, our homestead offers a private getaway for individuals or the whole family. Whether you prefer a secluded retreat or a communal gathering, rent a single spot or the entire 10 acres for your outing. We strive to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. Throughout the year, our property is home to chickens, a cow or two, usually a few pigs, and a couple of dogs, offering a glimpse into rural life. Join us this weekend and gather around the fire pit for warmth and camaraderie. We provide 10-20 primitive sites tailored to your needs, from secluded spots to a communal area where multiple families can camp together and share stories around the fire. Each site includes picnic tables, fire pits, and trash pickup. We also offer firewood, but kindly request that you refrain from bringing wood from elsewhere to preserve the health of our woods for future visitors. For your convenience, we have a small camp store stocked with essential items often forgotten at home. Additionally, children can enjoy our small playground while adults relax in nature. Whether you pitch a tent or hang your hammock from a tree, we welcome you with open arms. Don't have camping gear? Give us a call, as we offer tent and hammock rentals, along with various other amenities. If you prefer indoor accommodations, we have a camper ready for you. We look forward to hosting you on our picturesque countryside retreat.

Quintessential glamping! For all those campers of comfort who wanna get away without leaving the amenities of home behind, Buck Creek has a room for you. The park has a bunch of fully loaded cottages for rent that are, let’s be honest, probably nicer than your apartment. And for those who like a little dirt in their sandwich (possibly literally), there’s also tent campsites available. The park is centered around a massive lake, where you can boat, swim, fish and even scuba dive. And get this, speed demons: there’s several unlimited ski and horsepower zones. For the leisure-seekers, there’s miles of trails to bike or amble, with plenty of overlooks to observe the array of rare and unusual plants and animals. Legit need some R&R? Just kick back and enjoy the view from your cottage’s ridiculously charming screened-in porch.
