Primitive tent camping on the Greenville Peace Treaty Line, Buckeye Trail, Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Scenic Byway, Tuscarawas River Water Trail, and the Great American Rail Trail!
Located on the historic Ohio-Erie Canal between the village of Bolivar Ballparks and the McDonnell trailheads on the towpath trail ten miles south of Canton, Ohio, and 1.5 miles west of I-77 exit 93 on Scenic Byway Rt 212 in beautiful Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
The Peace Park is designed for bikers, hikers, dog walkers, and anyone traveling through to book a campsite even if anyone isn't available to meet and greet. Campers, once booked may go to an available campsite and set up camp.
Dog-friendly, handicapped-accessible Porta-Jon with hand sanitizer, shared electricity for charging phones, pristine aquifer water, picnic tables, fire pits, fire-side benches, birds, butterflies, lightning bugs, wild turkeys, deer, and other wildlife are often seen.
Please note: We're located on a section of the Ohio-Erie Canal Scenic Byway, the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad, and a 90-degree corner with a slight slope that causes trucks to downshift brakes. If you're a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs! We now offer disposable individual packaged earplugs in our Porta-Jon.

Welcome to No Stress Mountain! Roughly 40 acres of private western Pennsylvania forest. Several miles of hiking trails as well as a small 3 hole mountain “golf course”. Beautiful scenery, which includes a waterfall. The property also has a few farm animals that the guests are welcome to come check out. At the parking lot there is a great front porch setting for the sunset over the valley as well as a secondary fire pit. No Stress Mountain is the perfect place for a private family camping trip. PLEASE NOTE THAT CAMPERS WILL NEED TO BE TAXIED UP BY GATOR FROM PARKING LOT TO CAMPSITE.

Cameron’s land was the breath of fresh air we needed to recharge with nature.
The land was beautiful. Almost ethereal in a way with the change of seasons.
When you first get there, Cameron drives you, your gear and your party on a Gater to the sites — It’s such a fun little ride!! a few hills, twists & turns.
We had messed up and forgot a few things at home. Lucky for us, Cameron was amazing and let us borrow a few things of his to accommodate the things we forgot. He assisted in carrying our bags and made sure we were settled before he left us for our stay. Great guy. Great area. I highly suggest you check this beautiful piece of PA out. 🖤

Clean campsite, the grass is mowed nicely. The fire pits are clean and the tow path is within view of the campsites. Joe was super friendly and told us the history of the property and surrounding town. The portable bathroom needs some work and in my opinion needs to be cleaned more often. Other than that nice stay for the night! Thanks Joe!

Great site with a lot of history. It’s not every night you get to camp inside the Erie canal. Joe met me as I was setting up and gave me a history lesson on the area. I wish I’d had more time to spend learning about the region. The site is well situated and easy to find. Nighttime trucks on the County Road and a couple of trains might disrupt your sleep. But it’s worth it to stay in this unique location.

I appreciated Joe’s friendliness! It was nice to have a porter potty to use the restroom and a solar powered place to charge cellphones. I like the accessibility to the trail and Joe’s knowledge of the native Americans.

Our family of 5 (7, 5, and 2yo) stayed at No Stress Mountain for 2 nights. We stayed at Campsite 2, on a hill overlooking the creek. Cameron's land is wonderful, there's plenty to explore and see. Our kids loved the experience. The campsites are private enough, but Cameron is responsive and helpful and not too far away if anything comes up. Would highly recommend. The gator ride in was a big hit with the kids.

Joe is very friendly host. Great local historian. The property sits close to a road and a railroad but neither bothered me. I see why he offers free ear plugs for light sleepers. His location in relation to the trail can’t be beat.

Awesome spot right off the tow path. Wish I could have stayed to enjoy it but after several delays I ended up getting there after dark and had to leave asap the next morning. Being 105 miles by bike from my start was a big plus for me.
Next time I pass through I'll hang around haha.

Nice property, right off of the towpath. I did an overnighter on my bike, this place was perfect for that. It's a short ride into town for restaurants. Also Joe was super nice, very knowledgeable about history of the local area and his property specifically.

Joe was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the areas history, which was very interesting to learn about. The campsite was well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. Campsites are extremely close to towpath access (basically next to it) and close by to the river so you do not have to go far for outdoor recreation. Will be back soon!
