You'll notice that our property is also home to horses. They live and graze freely on the land, so from time to time, they may wander near your campsite. The horses are gentle and friendly, and many guest enjoy their quiet company during their stay. We do ask that you admire them respectfully. Please don't feed them, and give them space if they get curious and come close. They're part of the land's charm, and we're happy to share their presence with you.
Old School Farm and Workshop is a 40-acre modern homestead located in the heart of Ohio's Appalachian Country. We are 10 miles from Salt Fork State Park, Ohio's largest State Park and Ohio's Bigfoot Capital. While there, visit the new Eco-Discovery Center. Boating? We are only 6 miles to the Morning Glory boat ramp. Take your kayak on the Tuscarawas River, Simonds-Heller Park is only 13 miles away. Ride bike on the Great Guernsey Trail or check out their self-serve Kayak rental kiosk. We adore this campground. Beautifully maintained, great sites and only 80 min from us in Cleveland. The owners provide dry firewood that you can purchase for 10$ a wheelbarrow. There is a river winding through, this time we caught sight of the beaver that lives there! The only drawback is the sound from the natural gas liquidation plants few miles away but they aren’t operating on Sundays so it is so peaceful. It doesn’t take away from the beauty and serenity of this spot and the hosts are kind and helpful! We did a tent one time and this time brought the RV.

What a great place to spend our wedding anniversary. Just us and nature for 5 days. The campsite was perfect for our 32' bumper pull camper. The camper site sets on packed gravel with a concrete pad and pea gravel for chairs and picnic tables, overlooking the creek. We saw ducks, we fished and explored the well manicured property. We really enjoyed our stay at Memory Park.

This is a great spot. It was very convenient for where I was visiting. Ian was great and made sure I had a spot that worked for my setup and preference.
There are plenty of trees and grass so you feel like you're in nature but you also have the option for electricity, should you need it. The grassy area is overall level and is easy to get in and out of the parking area.

I had a great stay @Cliff Mine Heights. I was passing through town and needed a place to lay my head. I messaged Ian to see if this would be ok seeing it was last minute and he was extremely friendly and welcoming and assured me that it was no problem. Upon arrival he told me where I could park my vehicle for the evening. He later came over and introduced himself and also to some of his family. Just truly great kind people and Ian and I had some great conversation about camping, and truck setups, work. He was truly an Amazing Host and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his place to stay. The driveway is steep but thoroughly negotiable. At the top, is a large area where we were able easily to back our 25' travel trailer into the designated spot, and we were able to leave without backing and filling. HOWEVER, after we set up our trailer, it rolled back off the blocks the jack was on! It was only caught by the wheel chock behind one of the rear wheels! Had it kept going, it would have rolled down the hill in front of the house and onto the road below. BE SURE TO CHOCK YOUR WHEELS FIRST THING! The angle is NOT steep, but it was enough for this incident.
Also, Cliff Mine Road seems to have a split personality: a mile from Ian's place is an intersection. Three roads come into that intersection. Each of the three are named Cliff Mine Road. Ian lives on Cliff Mine / Enlow Road! Be sure to include the Enlow in your GPS navigation tool!
This all sounds serious. One does need to be aware of these two matters. But Ian and Kaitlin are wonderful, and the spot is very nice. Electricity only -- no water or sewer, but for one or two nights (we stayed two), it was excellent.

Ian's HipCamp was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting a relative in Pittsburgh for a few days. The spot was near highway access and close to shopping and restaurants. We especially appreciated the asphalt driveway and the safe, peaceful neighborhood. Hookups were sufficient and grouped for easy access. The yard was spacious, and there was plenty of room to park when we unhitched from our travel trailer. Communications were timely and easy. We highly recommend this HipCamp!

A wonderful, quiet place with very nice, thoughtful hosts. This was the only place we could find in close proximity to Pittsburgh and you'd never know you were close to the city. Highly recommend!
