Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

Located just 3.5 miles south of Fancy Gap, VA on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a mere 5 miles from I-77, this 22-acre campground features rolling hills, lush woods, and mountain views.
Guests can choose from a variety of accommodations, including 13 full hook-up RV sites, 8 comfortable motel rooms, 6 cozy camping cabins, and 3 tent sites. The campground also boasts a bathhouse equipped with five private bathrooms with hot showers and utility sinks. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the campground and motel so you can stay connected.
FGCC serves as a perfect base for exploring the wonders of southwest Virginia. Nearby attractions include the Blue Ridge Music Center, the iconic Mabry Mill, and a plethora of outdoor activities such as hiking, paddling, and cycling. 16 miles North of Marion and closer to Linville Gorge, Linville Falls and The Blue Ridge Parkway area, we are a perfect jump off point for all your adventures including The Apple Orchard at Altapass, Linville Caverns in addition to the ones mentioned above. TangleWood Creekside Campsites offers a rocky creek winding through the woods at the base of several hikable peaks hidden just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wildlife enthusiasts are encouraged to explore, on foot or mountain-bike, anywhere within our 170 acres (or the adjoining 250 acres owned by the US Forestry Service off our North Western border) and are likely to catch glimpses of turkey, beaver, deer, fox, eastern box turtle and the many species of songbird and raptor.
The location is convenient to tons of local attractions for sightseeing and outdoor activities as well as shopping, dining, even wine tasting. We would be happy to supply a comprehensive list of the various local attractions upon request but the following are a few of our favorite things to do within a short drive: visit Linville Falls, Caverns, Gorge and/or Winery; drive the Blue Ridge parkway; tube/kayak down the Catawba river; hike beautiful Crabtree Falls; cross Grandfather Mountains mile high bridge and explore the nearby towns of Spruce Pines or Little Switzerland. The scenic drives to Asheville, Blowing Rock or Banner Elk make them each wonderful day-trip destinations.

I enjoyed my stay at Blair's land. I camped at Creekside Meadow. The campsite has a fire ring and picnic table right next to the creek. The open meadow also adds to the experience. TangleWood Creekside Campsites is located near Pisgah National Forest, which features some great hiking trails. Blair's land is a unique property that features safari tent lodging and primitive campsites. Blair was very responsive, and communication was good.

All of us absolutely loved TangleWood. We'll definitely stay again. The property was beautiful, safe, clean, quiet and VAST. Blair recommended a perfect site with privacy and the stream wrapping around it: Buckeye Bank. We had a tent, truck and and a small camper van. There was plenty of room.
Driving in along the stream to our spot were a few other cool options for stays (mini homes, safari tents). The sites are well spread out and the pora-johns (about one per 2 sites) were immaculate. We went on 2 hikes on their enormous property. Our dogs played in the stream together right beside our campfire. The stars were magnificent. We'd love to come back again.
