Deer Creek is a cozy community of Class A and Super C owners located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Galax, Virginia. It’s hard to top the majesty of these mountains, and, frankly, we think anyone attempting to outdo nature’s majesty has the whole thing backwards. We believe life in these parts is about appreciating and honoring the epic beauty of Appalachia. So, if you’re up for making new friends and sharing great times in the heart of one of America’s most pristine landscapes, we say, “come on out! Whether you’re a bass master or a wannabe bass master, our fully stocked fishing pond is steps away. So, pack your light tackle and be sure to include a few spinner baits because there’s a monster down there just waiting to strike something shiny. If you’re an avid angler who wants to catch the dawn bite, choose a site overlooking the Deer Creek Pond, so you can rise, shine, and cast away. Catch and release only, please. The fish help keep our pond healthy. We completed a beautiful rebuild of our Clubhouse over the 2022-2023 season, so our community hub has never looked or felt better. With a full kitchen and a total of 3,850 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, it’s the perfect setting for any type of get-together. The Clubhouse also happens to be home to our on-site fitness center and laundry facility. So, you can work out while running a few spin cycles, if you like. Discover our small-but-mighty fitness center, where every workout packs a punch. Thoughtfully designed and fully equipped, it offers the perfect blend of high-quality machines and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re squeezing in a quick session or committing to a full routine, this intimate space delivers big results with personalized comfort and zero intimidation. Our furry friends also have a great place to play. The dog park is full of green grass – no dirt here! Equipped with a dog station, water, benches underneath the shade tree for our humans, and lots of room to chase a ball or roll around in the grass. Approval of all coaches older than 12 years will also require online submission of photos to help us determine if they are still in excellent condition.

Deluxe Golf Course Site

Our first visit and we really are enjoying the resort. Very well maintained, clean, beautiful landscaping and super quiet. People are friendly and helpful. Our site is pull-in, facing the farm and Hubby loves feeding the donkeys and cows. They walk right up to him...so cool. Nothing is really close so a little bit of drive to Galax but really not an issue. It has been chilly so not outside much. A lot of sites for sell right now.

Deluxe Hillside Site

Have been an owner for nine years, lived there full time for two seasons, love the place. Love the town of Galax near by, good music, good places to eat, and we kayak on the New River. The Blue Ridge Parkway is two miles away. Very easy place to visit, hard place to leave.

Paradise found! Perfect summer weather, lots of nearby activities from biking, hiking, kayaking, etc. Not to mention the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, tons of nearby music venues, great restaurants and more. We came to visit and wound up buying a lot with a nice casita and outdoor kitchen backing up to the fun par 3 golf course. It’s a very active community where visitors/renters are made to feel as welcome as the lot owners.

This is a great location in Galax, VA. We had a terrific time there with our grandkids. The communications for the rental and the service and owners were so good to work with. We definitely consider Deer Creek one of our favorite spots.

My wife, and 4 year old enjoyed our stay. The people who were our ambassador’s we so friendly and so much help. We are potential buyers of a Motorcoach only resort. Our time and choices at dcmr are nice and very much worthy of consideration. It makes sense that most owners at DCMR own these lots for summer a great open windows nights and Florida lots to move to by November as the wind and cold are not as appealing in the mountains. If you have a class A and love people then you will find very friendly neighbors. 9 nine hole, free to guests par 3 is great. No playground, wish they would consider. The clubhouse and amenities are clean and well kept. Will return and that you so much for loving on our ET and ETcatcher. Additionally there are those very expensive coaches and sone that are more reasonable. Motor-coaches but all are kept very well. The area is full if music and make sure you take 20 to 30 miles to see Andy Griffith Museum and the blue ridge music center the highway has great stops.

What a beautiful resort! It was truly love at first sight for us! The absolute best people are here at this resort, it’s honestly like one big family that will do anything for each other, so refreshing :-) Besides being an absolutely gorgeous, serene piece of paradise it’s the perfect location to enjoy Mother Nature at her finest! Biking, hiking, waterfalls, kayaking and more all within short driving distance. Thank you Deer Creek for an amazing place to enjoy the true joy of owning a coach!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Deer Creek. The owners were easily some of the friendliest, most welcoming people we've encountered at an RV Resort. Our lot was spacious, private and had lots of outdoor space for our enjoyment. The Resort is located close to lots of varied activities including bike trails, state parks, wineries and music venues. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just down the street. We'll definitely return!!
