They shared their enjoyment with us, and we realized how much we enjoyed knowing they were down there camping. We both have a great appreciation for God's creation and decided to open our gates to you. Lynn is a true Blue Ridge native and we both hope you enjoy the proximity to our towns, the mountains, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. The local apple orchards are also amazing! Hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and rafting are only a few of the activities available within a short drive. Such a fun spot! Hosts communicated directions ahead of time. The coop is the perfect spot if you’re looking for the camping experience with some added amenities. It is one of a kind, for sure! The property is peaceful and allows for great relaxation. There is a stream that runs behind the coop which you can hear from the porch, adding to the ambiance. Porta-Jon is close by and kept clean. Host even supplies lighting for the coop, which was a great bonus. Fantastic all around!!

The cabin right on the river was comfortable and quaint, loved falling asleep and waking to the sound of the water and birds singing! The restrooms and showers were clean and lots of hot water. The property is amazing plenty of privacy between cabins. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The trails were also good to hike in the mornings. Extra plus: the two horses on the adjoining property were so beautiful and friendly, we fed them bits of grass every day. Overall would definitely recommend if you are OK with roughing it just a little bit.

I enjoyed glamping at site #2 on Vicki’s property. There was a sturdy tent w/cot, air mattress, sleeping bags, chair, picnic table, a fire pit w/a couple chairs, potty bucket with sanitizing spray, soil to cover & hand sanitizer and all of this was backed up to a lovely creek. Location only a few minutes from Pisgah. Felt very safe as a woman camping alone and private. Vicki was warm & welcoming! Down falls were few but could be dealbreakers for some including traffic noise at all hours (earplugs were included although), tear in screen of tent (not an issue for me since few bugs & cool in evening), no trash service and no running water for drinking, cooking or washing hands but there was a hot shower (but I did not use). I was also very cold my first night using summer bags provided, so suggest bringing cooler weather bags for camping outside of the summer months. Finally there was a burn ban which prevented me from going on the trail I planned to hike and having a campfire, both disappointing but not in Vicki’s control.

I loved it and will return. I knew there would be electricity, a fridge, a bed, etc., but I did not expect a fancy bathhouse with flushing toilets and hot showers! And there was wi-fi! The mattress was very comfy and there was an easy chair to relax in. So cozy! The cabin is right on the river, and I enjoyed just sitting on a chair on the porch and watching the water. There are several cabins in a row next to each other, but plenty of space between and privacy walls. There are hiking trails just a stone's throw away, and it was great to be able to do a long hike and then get right back to the cozy cabin. Tom and Carrie were amazing, so helpful and communicative! Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Peace Of Pisgah

My pup and I stayed in the uber-comfy site 3 tent by the creek. There's a little bench where I sat and crocheted until dusk and we slept so soundly in the bed. Woke up early and hiked Vicki's suggested Moore's Cove and it was perfect. Vicki and Brian were super friendly and greeted us with literal open arms. Will stay again!

Tom let us move to cabin 2 which had more room for dogs and it was great. He is helpful with things to do in the area and checking in if we need anything. Cabin 2 was great and creekside.
