All of us absolutely loved TangleWood. We'll definitely stay again. The property was beautiful, safe, clean, quiet and VAST. Blair recommended a perfect site with privacy and the stream wrapping around it: Buckeye Bank. We had a tent, truck and and a small camper van. There was plenty of room. Driving in along the stream to our spot were a few other cool options for stays (mini homes, safari tents). The sites are well spread out and the pora-johns (about one per 2 sites) were immaculate. We went on 2 hikes on their enormous property. Our dogs played in the stream together right beside our campfire. The stars were magnificent. We'd love to come back again.

Great campsite next to the creek. Plenty of porta-potties around and all very clean. Ripple Run was level and easy to drive up to. Entry to creek possible and two spots for hammocks. There is a dumpster outside the gate, which is useful. Host was very responsive to messages. Overall, the campground had a great feeling and we can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Creek Music while at Tanglewood and I have to say it is one of the most well kept campgrounds we have ever stayed at! Blair's team had everything very pristine and orderly! I was skeptical at for about 'Port-o-Johns' but we have never seen one so clean before! The way each campsite is its own little hide-away, giving it a feel of wild camping, but the site it self is purposely set up! Thanks Blair for a great place for us to land for a couple days on our long trip! We hope to see Tanglewood again in the future!!

Lake Norman State Park
