There is a dock to tie up your kayaks and paddle boards. Boats are welcome to park in our overflow parking area and a public boat ramp is 0.25 miles away. Take the Davis ferry to the beautiful beaches of Cape Lookout just a few minutes away! 3 sites with 30-amp power (sites 1, 2 and 3) we welcome generators at the other sites, so long as they are quiet. All with water hookups except tent site 5. One can also pitch your tent close to the water (site 5). Enjoy swimming in the sound, fishing, wind surfing, paddle boarding, kayaks and your canoes!!!! Enjoy it all and only share the space with 4 other sites. No waste dump on site. Core Creek Campground will allow you to dump for $39. 20 minutes from shops and restaurants of Beaufort and Morehead city. There is also a ferry to Ocracoke Island from Cedar Island, a peaceful 20-minute drive away. Really great access to a quiet and beautiful part of the outer (inner) banks. Everything you’d ever want to do at the beach is within 30 minutes and the sunrise on the sound is gorgeous. Be prepared for mosquitoes, especially at dusk. Recommend spray or a bug light. Carteret County is now spraying our site for mosquitoes! With Cape Lookout National seashore and Fort Macon State Park under 20 minutes from us, you also have tons of outer-bank activities to choose from.

Nice area quiet and well kept. everything you need to set up camp. The pad is a little quirky. Your power is on one side of the pad and water and sewer are on the other side. The pad I guessing is 36 feet wide, So you need to park according to how much cable or water line you have.I parked near the power so I had to run 25 ft of sewer line. and it goes up hill at the end so you had to walk out the drain line , There seems to be 2 inlets you need to look around for the lower one it is hidden in the grass. the other inlet sticks up so high it was difficult to get a good drane . both 50 and 30 amp are available. The water is Ocracoke water, I Never did like it You might want to bring bottle water , Although there is no problem with the water it is safe to use , I just don't like the water anywhere on the Island. no picnic table or trash cans. You can deposit trash at the trash depot next to the post office. Not far from town so community store is just a few minutes away as well as Restaurants and shops. If I keep RVing I will be back .

Large site, easy access, I did not see a picnic table or trash bins, the electric and sewage are on opposite sides so you may need extra hose and park in the middle of pad. Great RV spot in Ocracoke. A quick bike or golf cart ride to everything in town. Nice level RV pad with easy access to hook ups. The neighborhood is a set of roads with houses along the canals. This spot was perfect! Right on the water, spot to dock your kayaks and super great scenery. We woke up looking at the bay with beautiful cranes and deer around us. Weather was perfect and we were able to go down to the dock and sit in the sun while fishing. We didn’t even leave the campground and had all we needed!

Excellent location. Not super scenic but super functional. The site is very private but not secluded; you’ll have neighbors. People live nearby. However, it’s a great spot. Lots of amenities and mosquito control. Lots of birds to listen to in the morning. We walked, paddled, biked, ate and had good beer; all very close by. Would recommend.

This was a perfect place to spend the night, heading home from Ocracoke, just a short drive from the Swan Quarter ferry. Water, power and a nice level spot, provided everything we needed. We would be happy to go back next time, and highly recommend. Super quiet, safe, and plenty of room to walk around with the dog.
