Weekend Trip to Paradise Farms

The site was beautiful, with lots of quiet open space. There are railroad tracks close by but we only heard a train twice all weekend. There was also a golden retriever that adopted himself into our camp but he was sweet (as long as you keep your trash out of reach lol) and got along with our puppy great. Stephanie was awesome and attentive as well, answered any questions I had quickly and clearly. It's a great little spot!

7 nights at Lake Gaston Wildwood RV SITE

What we liked: The site was convenient to the lake, the store, and to several boat ramps. Was really fantastic to be able to use the neighborhood dock/boat slips and pool (thank you!). Mary was super responsive and accommodating. Loved having a fire pit and sewer hook-up. Location was quiet, and we were actually able to line up both RVs in a train to access the sewer connection and still be on the leveled gravel area of the site, which was a plus. What could be better: no potable water. I assumed using a filter would help, but even with in-line filter, water was discolored coming into camper. Suggestions: it was a bit difficult to find the entry at night, so a light there and another back near the hookups would be super helpful. The area around the gravel site was very muddy, and I had read on a former review there was plenty of room so believed I could turn around and ended up getting hung up in the mud. Was also conscious of not wanting to damage a septic field. Maybe providing a site map for check-in to help folks understand best way to back in and/or turnaround would help?

1 night at Turtle Dove Escape

Nice road and wooded area to enjoy. Our dog was in heaven walking on the road and exploring the pine woods on the site. Allison met us at the site and showed us the options for parking. Our Airstream was a little too large to back right into the woods but a smaller rig would fit. Being on the gravel road was nice, private and quiet!
