That was very private and accommodating as it was fantastic to have both power and water hook up. It was a very peaceful area with a great creek that ran through the property where we took our dogs to go play. Sandra & Roy were very accommodating and kind. If we go back to that area, we will most likely stay there again.

And the animal tour with all the bay goats was a great bonus! Rebecca is such a lovely human, warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable! We had breakfast under the pecan trees with fresh eggs and vegetables from her farm, and even brought some eggs home with us! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, immersive farm experience. We felt truly welcomed and connected to the land.

We really enjoyed our stay at Abbott Creek Farm! The property was peaceful, spacious, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The host was kind and responsive, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. We especially loved seeing the farm animals at sunset, it added such a sweet, grounding touch to the experience. The outdoor shower in the morning sun was a highlight too, so refreshing and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm, nature-filled getaway!

Cheryl is amazing!! This is the perfect place to camp, it's quiet and secluded. The farm stand is open on the weekend I got a bunch of goodies! We got to pet the sheep and donkeys and they were so friendly. I would definitely come back here!!

We had the best time camping at Harmon Creek. Cheryl’s entire family was so welcoming, and they sold everything we needed at their little camp store, including freshly baked treats on our last morning. Our site was clean and private and shady. We were initially worried about the heat and bugs, but surprisingly neither were an issue! We hope to return soon!

This was an amazing camp site! The kids absolutely loved playing in the creek and nearby waterfall. The owners were friendly and hospitable. They even had delicious homemade cinnamon rolls one morning! We loved falling asleep to the sound of running water and forest sounds. Once was not enough time to explore the farm, and we'll definitely be back again to take in more of the views.

Peaceful flowing river, country view, flat grassy area - great spot for off road camping. Far enough away from the rd for privacy. Trees allowed sun and shade. There were a few small groups enjoying the river across from us each day and the road noise was sporadic. None were annoying. Most of the sounds were the flowing river and birds singing. Best part of the morning is watching the cows make their way to the pasture on the hill!

3 nights at Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground

We spent 2 nights here and were surprised to see how much privacy we had. We only slept there at night and spent our days exploring but were very happy with the space for our camper van.

Weekend Trip to Mystic Meadow Farm Glamping.

My dog and I had the absolute best weekend at the “Love Shack” in Mystic Meadow. Wendy has created a woodland oasis with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is easy to find, but feels a thousand miles away from the daily grind. The cabin is perfect, thedeck was outfitted with chairs for relaxing, a swing near the creek, and the woody trails were full of fun treasures. And did I mention the fire pit? We enjoyed visiting the fluffy butts and the goats along the trail, listening to the creek as it bubbled along and watching fireflies from the deck and morning visits with deer. Wendy suggested a couple of places to visit locally, which had great trails and shopping options. We even visited a local drive in on Saturday night. There are lots of options near by for all kinds of entertainment. In fact I’m checking my calendar for another trip in the fall. I highly recommend booking a trip to mystic Meadows, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Wendy for a great weekend and being a terrific host. We really didn’t want to leave! .

William Cornelius Vineyard

William Cornelius Vineyard is a 50-acre private working vineyard and farm that includes 6 acres of Vineyard, 15 acres of corn/soybean fields, and 15 acres of forest. Two vintage tobacco barns add rustic charm to the site. A lovely stream flows down cascading rock shelves along one side of the property, and a small pond is located on the other side. You will have the farm to yourself. There is only one RV site on the property and no other residents, except for the deer and occasional turkey, racoon, squirrels, and birds. From your RV and site you will have an unobstructed view over the vineyard of the sunset and western range of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Vineyard includes Viognier, Merlot, and Chambourcin grapes. Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground was a tobacco farm (antique tobacco barn still on property). The house was built in 1910 and has been updated. We purchased it in 2014 and converted it into a vineyard. We have RV sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electric hookups and water, and tents sites. For 2023 our rates are $30/night for RV Sites (50 amp or 30 amp electric hookups and water) and $25/night for Tent Sites. Tent sites do not have electricity or water hookups, but water is available at the well. (Due to inflation, 2024 our rates will be $30/night for RV Sites, $25/night for Tent Sites.) We do not have a dump station, but we do have a Port A John and a list of dump stations nearby. Campfires are allowed unless we have a state issued burning ban. Campers are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires. Please be extremely careful during dry or drought conditions. Conveniently located one mile from Hwy 421 but remote and peaceful with plenty of room to roam on our 22 acres with grapevines, fruit trees, forest, creeks, fields, goats, Beagle and Jackabee (Beagle/Jack Russell) dogs, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. Also, we have wildlife such as birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. We are about 15 miles from Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro (home of the Merle Fest and Apple Festival). Eden Oaks is 18 miles from W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir, 24 miles from Stone Mt. State Park, and 10 miles from Elkin (sponsors of the Wine Festival and Pumpkin Festival). Eden Oaks is in the heart of the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek AVAs (American Viticultural Area). We're next door (3 miles) to Raffaldini and Piccione Vineyards. Our farm is an agritourism/sheep farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo, B&B, farm store, snack bar and camping! We are a working farm during the week so we only allow camping to occur on the farm during the week as well as weekends. The rest of the farm offerings are not available until the weekend. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. Each of the 3 sites has a fire ring and picnic table. A Grill Pavilion is available to rent for $20 extra. See photos. Propane, grill, table and party lights included. We allow check-ins during the week after 12 noon, perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed during week. If you are looking for interaction with the animals, or shop our farm store, book on a weekends when we open the Farm 10am-4pm for the public to visit our petting zoo, Farm Store and Snack Shack. We even offer feed so you can feed our sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks and geese! While we are dog-friendly, we do not allow dogs outside the camping area. Instead, we offer a 1.5 acre piece of property adjacent to the camping sites where you can allow your dogs off-leash. No extra charge. Our camping area is a large grassy field that will accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers, and RVs under 30' with room to turn around, stake your area, and not feel crowded. There is also 1 regularly maintained porta potty located in this area.

This beautiful vineyard is less than 10 mins away.
