We LOVED this site! We knew the weekend was going to be rainy but still wanted a quick getaway. The camper was perfect! No taking down a tent in the rain or setting it back up to dry off when we got home. They had everything we needed. All we had to take were sheets, a blanket and our pillows.
The site was secluded. We could hear owls, crickets and frogs. The fire pit with a cooking grate was all we needed. There were extra chairs, a tiki torch with bug repellent, a table and a toilet. The beds were SUPER comfy and there was plenty of room for us and our kids. The creek was crystal clear and the boys loved catching crawdads and looking for fish. When it rained, we played cards under the shelter.
Salem was responsive and delivered firewood to our site and had everything ready and waiting for us.
We will definitely be back! So glad we found this place and it was available for our last minute trip. This was so much easier on us than our usual camping trips. It really is the best of both worlds!

This campsite absolutely lives up to its name - Peaceful Easy Feeling.
The whole weekend felt like nature showing off: dragonflies twirling around us, birds singing like they were in concert, and the lake buzzing with life. We spotted koi, fish, minnows, snapping turtles, and even a surprisingly cute little watersnake who was (quite proudly) having frog for lunch = front-row seats to the circle of life! Afternoons floating on personal rafts were pure bliss, evenings cooling off in the creek were refreshing, and nights by the firepit were perfection. Salem was such a kind and accommodating host, which made everything feel even more easy and welcoming. It all came together to make the weekend unforgettable — peaceful, easy and beautiful.

The camp is well aptly named. You absolutely get a peaceful easy feeling and it won’t let you down. Such a relaxing place to get away from the world. The pond and campsite were very clean and supplies, if needed, were only 10 minutes away. The dogs had an awesome time in and out of the water and the canoe provided was a nice bonus.

This campsite had exactly everything we needed including a swimming pond, a fire pit , tables, a canoe, privacy, clothes line, etc. We had a great time meeting friends there and relaxing!

We really enjoyed this spot along with our dogs 🐕 Our one dog especially enjoyed the pond for fetching sticks! The canoe was a fun touch and we enjoyed some laps around the pond trying to spot the koi fish. The owls were hootin and hollerin throughout the day and night which was really cool
🦉 We also heard some turkeys our first night and the next morning.

Great isolated location. Frogs and other night critters sing you to sleep. Tent pad is excellent! Be sure to check out the town of Gold Hill.

Had such a fun time! Site was very private and away from all the hustle and bustle (couldn’t hear anything but nature). Host was attentive and brought us extra firewood :) property had well managed trails and our dogs enjoyed their off leash privileges.
10/10 would camp again!

This place was absolutely perfect! We had such a fun time camping, canoeing, and exploring the woods! The stars were gorgeous at night and we could hear the frogs and the barred owl calls. Couldn’t have asked for a better camping destination! We were able to drive right up to the camp site and had plenty of room to relax and explore.

We had a great time! The hosts have water (and wood if purchased) ready for campers when they arrive. Really nice, clean area to hangout and plenty of spots to set up tents. We appreciated the wood, water, & watercloset available.

We loved spending the weekend here! It was so peaceful, quiet, and private. It was easy to get to with clear instructions and signs leading you to the campsite. We loved using the canoe and fishing off the dock! Salem was a responsive, helpful, and kind host. I highly recommend staying here. We are hoping to come back in the summer!

This campsite was great! It was super peaceful and secluded. We were able to allow our dog to run around without any fear of other people/animals around. Salem was very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

This place was perfect for a car camp. The site had plenty of space, it was clean, the water provided was useful and the seclusion was exactly what we were looking for. We usually go to a national forest to camp, this site has spoiled us now. We are definitely coming back. Thanks Salem.

Perfect spot for a boys weekend. 5 dads and 5 kids. It was nice being able to sit at the fire pit and watch the boys ride bikes around the pond.
I was able to make it down with a minivan and another guy with a Honda Civic, but definitely a little sketchy. AWD or 4x4 recommended.
Lots of owls on the property! You could hear them throughout the night.
My only complaint is that you could still hear the distant road noise and there was a party nearby our first night with loud music. This wouldn't prevent me from coming back.

This campsite was out of a dream! The road to get to the site was a little bit nerve wrecking (in a sedan) but once you’re in, it doesn’t even matter because you don’t want to leave again lol! The lake was beautiful and everything was exactly how you would want it. Salem was extremely responsive and kind to my many questions. We also ran out of wood on the last day and they brought us more within an hour. We walked all around and down the creek a ways and it was super private. We will definitely be booking again!

We loved our stay here! We had the whole property to ourselves which was well maintained and had everything you would need and more!
The site was really peaceful and clean. We loved that we could camp right by the water and that there was also a canoe to use! We hope to come back for longer next time!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay over the weekend! It was secluded away from everything and it was definitely peaceful! We enjoyed fishing and taking a stroll in the canoe as well as just relaxing and eating dinner by the campfire. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and would love to come back.

Quiet and peaceful. Not much luck fishing but still fun. The firewood bundle is not very large so if you are planning on having a fire most of the time bring some wood or scavenge around the woods. Relaxing trip.

Salem's property is so beautiful and peaceful with a mix of fun! We enjoyed the super private camp site, fishing in the pond, canoeing, and the overall wonderful atmosphere! We will definitely book here again!

We had a great experience camping here. We loved the pond and the trails around it. Our little guy loved feeding the fish. The host was very responsive and the site was easy to find. It rained quite a bit during our stay but the lot is well-graded and didn't get muddy. Thank you!

We love the creek. We grabbed our chairs and put them in the creek to hang out and cool down. It was an awfully hot weekend and the cool creek was a welcome treat!
We enjoyed paddling around the little pond in the canoe.
The space near the toilet seems fairly level. We parked two of the vehicles there.
The other space was definitely large enough for our group of 11 with 4 tents, but was not level enough for the chairs.
In the heat of the summer, I would highly suggest a couple of flat areas we saw next to the creek or a hammock next to the creek.
It is a beautiful and quiet space. Our dogs really enjoyed being able to swim and roam off-leash
