Book now for your spring break! We are allowing weekday as well as 3-day camping! *************************************************************************************** Our farm is an agritourism/sheep farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo, Bed and Breakfast, farm store, and camping area! We are a working farm during the week but we allow campers to park on weekends or weekdays. The price is the same except the petting zoo and farm store are only open on weekends. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. Each of the 3 sites has a fire ring and picnic table. A Grill Pavilion is available to rent for $20 extra. See photos. Propane, grill, table and party lights included. We allow check-ins during the week after 12 noon, perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed during week. If you are looking for interaction with the animals, or need supplies from the farm store, we open from 10-4 weekends only. You can purchase feed for the animals for $1/bag then. We have sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, guinea pigs and geese! While we are dog-friendly, we do not allow dogs closer to the petting zoo area. We offer a 1+ acre fenced in area next to the camping sites where you can allow your dogs off-leash. No extra charge. Our camping area is a large grassy field that will accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers, and RVs under 30' with room to turn around, stake your area, and not feel crowded. There is also 1 regularly maintained porta potty located in this area. WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Turn into the driveway and up towards the house. You will enter the camping area through the open double gates on your left. We no longer use the red gate on your right as a camping area.

Site 1 is located closest to the driveway next to the fence providing great shade during the summertime and a hilltop view down onto the off-leash dog area with woods, a creek and grassy meadow. Like the other 3 sites, it has its own picnic table and fire ring, and is a good spot if you want to get some sun and shade.

Site 2-sits on a hill in the open

Site 2 is near Site 1 but with plenty of room to park and enjoy the great outdoors in your own private area. As with all 3 sites, this site is just steps away from the dog run where you can explore with your dog, either on-leash or off, our acre-plus area with woods and grassy hill and creek with running water. Site 2 is closer to the porta-john which is professionally maintained and shared among the 3 sites. You have a firepit and a picnic table just for your site. Firewood is available for sale upon request or you can bring your own!

Site 3 - most private-in a corner

Site 3 is near Site 2 but is in the corner of the field furthest away from the driveway and has a secluded corner with direct access into the dog park where you can explore with or without your dog our woods, grassy hill and creek and enjoy hearing plenty of birds that live within these woods. As with all 3 sites, this site is just steps away from the porta-john which is professionally maintained and shared among the 3 sites. You have a firepit and a picnic table just for your site. Firewood is available for sale upon request or you can bring your own!

Second time here! Super easy and a great spot! Host is quick to communicate and the spots are quiet and relatively private.

Beautiful farm to visit with sweet animals to meet! Host was so helpful and informative. We loved shopping in the farm store. Very convenient location not far from the highway. We enjoyed our time there and were the only campers. My daughter and I felt very safe as there was plenty of light around the area for campers at night. Please note you should copy the address and put in whatever map app you use instead of clicking on the map link within Hipcamp because that takes you to the wrong location. The only downside was noise from someone target practicing on a Saturday night a distance away. I don’t think anyone staying in a RV would hear it. It didn’t go on too late but was kinda annoying to us because we were ready to go to sleep pretty early. I would recommend this campsite and paying to feed the animals. Very affordable campsite!

I loved camping on Cheryl’s farm! I was able to get fire wood from her and she had it ready for when I arrived. There was a picnic table and fire pit available in one spot but we were welcome to camp anywhere in the designated field. We weren’t able to see any animals because it rained but we still had a great time!

Cheryl is amazing!! This is the perfect place to camp, it's quiet and secluded. The farm stand is open on the weekend I got a bunch of goodies! We got to pet the sheep and donkeys and they were so friendly. I would definitely come back here!!

I've been at Cheryl's Farm several times already in 2024. Started the New Year enjoying some peace and relaxation by myself. So far, I've been the only camper, a bonus.

This is our go to place when we make the trip from the Eastern Shore of Virginia to Asheville, NC. We split the trip into two pieces and stop here for the night. There is some traffic noise but it doesn't bother Karen and I always use earplugs when sleeping in a tent so it doesn't bother me either. Thank You Cheryl! Richard and Karen

It was a good stay, however the porta potty could definitely use a deep clean. The space was nice, we were only met with 1 other couple camper, but if it was a busy place there would be no privacy. Was a good stay though and place is kept up well! Host was very nice.

Cheryl is very sweet and I spent a good part of the time with a sheep who are very friendly and will come up to you. Will definitely return when in the area!

I enjoyed my stay at Brookhaven Mill Farm. I was the only camper (a bonus). Even though it rained, it was nice to hear the rain hit on top of my campervan. Thanks Cheryl for your hospitality. I'll be back soon.

This was our second visit so things were quite smooth. We stopped in for a break/night in our travels to Asheville. we did have some gentle rain that night, which was very welcome, considering how hot it has been! I highly recommend Cheryl’s place.

The best night’s sleep we’ve had on this trip. We had the field all to ourselves. The sheep were in the pasture and came to the fence to greet us. Cheryl was a great host. She told us all about the wonderful work she does with kids, getting them connected to animals and nature. We would definitely come back.

I loved Cheryl’s land. It was clean guiet & had a potty’ to use. We had a chance to sit down & talk like friends since I was the only camper there at the time. I had animal therapy & even got a chance to feed a baby lamb. So cute. I was truly grateful for the cats she also feeds because I am also a cat lady. Truly checked my bucket list & will use Cheryl to venture out again. Thanks for a good time.
