Other nearby interests include kayaking, tubing, and fishing the Dan River, Zip-lining, Pilot Mt. State Park, Also the town of Mt. Airy (Mayberry) from the Andy Griffith show. You can also visit the well known Maybry Mill on a nearby section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. And of course you can always have a memorable time simply hanging around camp enjoying a cozy fire or gazing into the brightly lit starry skies that have escaped the city lights. Split firewood available on the honor system for purchase on the site of your choice. $5/bundle cash.

This is a wonderful cabin getaway. The grounds were well kept, the cabin was comfortable and Darin was so great deal with. It is close to Hanging Rock SP which was a plus. I would definitely stay here when I’m in the area.

The Vineyard is a beautiful campground in a fantastic location. The cabin was very nice and suited our needs perfectly, though we actually ended up staying Nextdoor to Seminole in the Carolina cabin. Greg was an excellent host who was responsive and very accommodating. A perfect option for someone looking for a cabin instead of a tent or RV site. We enjoyed our stay. Bedding was provided as well as a small charcoal grill for cooking.

Great location close to Hanging Rock, peaceful, nice basic kitchen set up. Trail onsite (which we plan to explore next time) Very cozy, host is very nice, went out of his way to make our stay wonderful ! The driveway is steep, my ford fiesta could not make it up the incline. I parked at the landing just at the bottom of the hill. Otherwise 11/10 we will definitely be back anytime we are in the area!!!

Quiet, well equipped little cabin. The fire pit, chairs, and picnic table were really nice. The portapotty was clean. I appreciated all the items available (hand/dish washing station, shower, cooler, grill, pots, dishes) since we of course forgot a few things. Secluded, but safe. The bed was very comfortable. Nicely cleared area, safe for my toddler to run around. Beautiful area. We will definitely be back.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I would 100% come back to this location. My favorite thing about this location are all of the paths you’re able to explore. There’s a really nice little river on the property you should check out if you have time. I don’t have anything to say about this location but there are a lot of spider webs and frogs. I actually accidentally stepped on a big one after dark but he was fine. The owners came and changed out trash and they were very nice people. If you’re looking for a nice secluded area this is a great spot.

The cabin was fantastic. It was tucked back away giving you the feeling of being secluded which was exactly what we wanted. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off. If you have charcoal you are good to go out there. They have almost every amenity; grill, campfire pit, fire wood, Adirondack chairs, and more. We loved it. It was perfectly located for us between Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain. Will definitely book this place again!

Lori’s place was lovely! We enjoyed the expansive yard and view of the farm and animals. We made many new animal friends, including chickens, goats, and sweet Bear (the friendly dog). Great place for pets- my dog had the best time. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and just what we needed to relax! Hope to came back soon!

Excellent place! It was really a perfect spot. The cabin is simply adorable. We spent two days hiking at hanging rock and slept the night at the cabin. Everything was perfect-the cabin, the bed, the fire pit, the shower, the port-a potty. Easy to find, excellent directions and easy to access the cabin with code.
