Hummingbird hill is our cute camping spot nestled under pine trees and amongst our farm inhabitants including horses, donkeys, chickens, peacocks and an occasional cat. One or all of these may make themselves a regular presence at your site. We are located a short distance from the Walthour Moss Foundation boasting endless miles of equestrian trails. We are a short 3 mile drive to Southern Pines and a quick drive to Pinehurst. Your campsite has a 30 amp hookup and water next to a cozy single campsite with table/chairs and fire pit. Easily accessible pull in and out with lots of room to maneuver. This is a *working* horse farm which means you will see manure, bugs and dust. You may hear horses, donkeys, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and peacocks making the noises they enjoy making. There are tractors and mowers that may pass your site. Well behaved, leashed dogs welcome with prior approval. Paddocks with sheds available for horses for additional fee.

The place was great! The bathhouse needed cleaning and supplies. There was no hot water in the shower. Other than that, we liked the play area for the children. During summer, the pool is a must!

Weekend Trip to Never Rest Ranch

Peaceful, quiet, super easy check in, my husband and I loved it here. Drive past the host house and past some cute horses and straight back to a nice large field and set up. Toilet and hand washing area is nice too. We were there by ourselves and had complete privacy. Mandy's communication was awesome and we had no problems finding the location and setting up! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area!

The host was very welcoming and gave us all the info we needed. We thought the camp was lovely all nestled in trees with sandy (but navigable!) lanes. It was also really convenient for our northward on I-95 journey home.
