We provide fire wood and portable toilets. Please note that we are off grid so we request that you use all degradable products if possible. (shower supplies are provided). In 2013 my husband and I retired from Florida to Murphy; We built a small cabin in the woods and began collecting critters. We now have 4 Nigerian goats, 4 Great Pyrenees and 1 little rescue mixed puppy. We are so blessed and wanted to give back. Several men from our church along with my husband and I built the "Bunkhouse" to provide inexpensive lodging to those that wanted to enjoy the simple life. Money received is shared with Renewed Hope a local not for profit, faith-based drug and alcohol treatment facility. Learn more about this land: The tiny cabin overlooks a small creek and sits at the tree line. In the winter you can see the mountains and in the spring and summer one can only see dense woods. Other than the host home there are no other homes visible.  The cabin is located 5.3 miles from John C. Campbell Folk School and 7.4 miles from Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & hotel.  We are just 5.6 miles from the Historic Murphy city center. Three rivers converge to form Hiawasse lake outside of Murphy and the Nanatahala Gorge River and lake is close by.

We built this space to share with our family, friends, and any others who love the simplicity of spending time in nature. Our goal was to create a welcoming, cozy space using all locally sourced lumber, salvaged materials, antique furniture, thrifted finds, and repurposed items. It's truly unique and every part of our design has been intentional. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! It's been a 2 year labor of love and now we are ready to share it! Please note, there is a pet fee that must be added before check out under "extras". We have a rooster that you may hear in the wee hours of the morning and we also have a fowl alarm system (2 extremely loud geese who alert us of people, predators, and random vehicles). But you won’t hear any car alarms, city traffic, or all night parties! ReWild sits on our 10 acre property which borders Cooper's Creek Wildlife Management area, 30,000 acres within the Chattahoochee National Forest. We have old logging roads and trails that lead directly into the NF where you can explore for hours without seeing another human. We are located within hiking distance of the Toccoa River which is great for fishing, tubing, kayaking and my favorite, paddle boarding. ReWild is surrounded by many well-know trails including the Appalachian trail, Benton McKaye, and Duncan Ridge as well as many unnamed, hidden gems. Our little community of Suches is quiet and quaint. We are about a 30 min drive from Blue Ridge and Blairsville and about 45 minutes to Dahlonega. If outdoor activites or just relaxing in cottage in the woods is your goal, ReWild is just the place. If you're looking for restaurants, shopping and city life just around the corner, ReWild is not your goal. We camped there our last night of a week long camping trip. All the staff was super nice and we even got a tour of some of the cabins, Mary has put so much work into this magical place! Our group had so much fun and even got to meet the adorable goats, horses, donkey, and pigs! Facilities are all very nice and clean. We loved the swings by the stream and the solar powered fairy lights at night!!

Incredible views from a hot tub. Need I say more? This is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to disconnect from the rest of the world. The charming little cabin is just the right size for a couple or small family. Unbeatable year round views from that hot tub, I mean. You can’t beat it. We can’t wait to come back in the summertime and enjoy it again. Thanks for a wonderful break from our routine. We’ll be back for sure!

An amazing wonderland trip. Such a unique and beautiful campground. The host is super friendly and allowed my children to help feed her animals daily which meant a lot to my son. My children hiked up the mountain daily and saw interesting plants, rocks and a little waterfall. The decor and the vibe is beyond family friendly. I will definitely be back to check out the candyland cabins.

This is the campground is absolutely amazing! Shannon has obviously put her heart and soul into giving her guest a most magical experience! From the time you pass the 6 ft tall mushrooms at the entrance you will find a clean well kept mix of truly magical themed cabins, a petting zoo with the sweetest mix of lovable animals, an activity/game area with something for everyone. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Y'ALL! If you've never heard of Magical Mountain Resorts, The Enchanted Forest you're thoroughly missing out! Words and pictures can not explain how magical this place is! You can rent Hagrid's cabin, the Harry Potter double Decker bus, two Alice in Wonderland cabins, Snow White's cottage and two Candyland Cottages. Plus RV/Tent sites. The care and effort that Shannon and her people put into this place is absolutely ridiculous! I can't tell you how accommodating these people are. They've really created such a magical place. If you have kids, you HAVE to check this place out! 🍄 🐰 🪄 ✨

We just retired from Active Duty Air Force! My ancestors have owned the land our NC cabins sit on since 1836. In fact, my mother grew up there after my Grandfather returned from WWII when there was no electricity and the outhouse was a bench over the creek. I grew up hiking the mountains with my brothers and our BB guns and my Uncle Frank at our family reunions. In 2005 he deeded us a parcel of land and we built our first cabin - Smawlie. We love to come to the cabin and Hike the trails on our own property, and of course, the world famous ones that join them, namely the Bartram and the Appalachian Trails. As you explore the lake, the trails, the rivers, and the mountain roads you'll see why our ancestors settled here. In 2018 - we bought the remainder of Uncle Frank's land - and in his honor built our second cabin - Frank's Landing. Also in that year I started managing my brother Bill's cabin. When we were stationed in Alaska for 6 heavenly years - we purchased a remote parcel of property and have slowly begun to develop it. We just completed building our cabin there. Thanks for reading this little tid bit about us. We love to explore the mountains and are excited to share our cabins with you.
