I loved the glamping experience ! It was quiet and secluded. The trails were pretty. I went up the overlook trail. The showers were clean with hot water too . The tent and bed were comfortable . And it was quiet and night. Starlight Hills was awesome !

We loved camping here, our site was privately tucked away behind some thick trees and felt super private, comfy toilet and shower available, and such a cool refreshing creek for us to cool down in 😊

2 nights at Triple J Farm and Campground

I had a quiet, peaceful time at Triple J Farm. Jessica met me on arrival and led me out to the site. She helped me carry my stuff in and even came out at 10 p.m. to warn me there was a severe thunderstorm warning, and if I wanted to come in, I was welcome. The dogs on the property are super friendly. One even decided to hang out with me as I walked the creek. Even with the heat of summer, the air around the creek is cool and the water cooler. If you have sensitive feet, wear water shoes, lots of rocks, slate and mica. If you wanted to, you could definitely find some rough gems. The area is also heavy in wild blackberries. I was a little too early but still got to enjoy some sun-warmed juiciness! While there are plenty of spots to hang a hammock, I found a spot right next to the creek, where I peacefully finished a couple of books I was reading. It was beautiful! I’ll be back!

1 night at Peace Of Pisgah

The land was magical and provided such a relaxing atmosphere. There are trails and a pond along with the creek that runs throughout the space. The hosts are amazing people. Vicki provided lots of great info about the surrounding area. The campsite was well kept and manicured in such a thoughtful way! Arrival and departure were easy…although we were sad to leave!

We stayed at MTG1. Great experience! The view is good, others have better view but MTG1 has bigger area around it and also it’s under the shadow of trees so it’s cooler than others. I was happy with my choice.

We rented MTG 2 and 3 to accommodate our family. The tents were clean and well maintained with fans in each tent and a comfortable full bed and futon in each tent. The tents had lights and a place to charge your electronics. It was quiet with beautiful views.

I had a great time staying at Vicki’s! The grounds were beautiful, even with lots of rain. The outdoor shower was heavenly.

We had a great time! Host was accommodating and we arrived a bit early and as the unit was already clean, they allowed us to set up a bit early before kayaking at lake James! The glamping Yurt/ MTG2 was so cute! Comfy bed! There is not regular power source, but solar that operates a fan, lights, and a usb outlet (not standard plug). The social area with hammocks and tables was lovely to overlook the Mountain View! The highlight was definitely the spa purchase! Soaking tub with sauna! The showers had hot water (was outside so bring a robe!) and portajohns for restroom facilities. Water is available at a central location, but not at each individual campsite (one large jug provided next to fire pit). Overall a fabulous glamping experience!

Great place with sturdy and roomy yurt. Great views of the hills, large sites and raised camping platform. Great little get away spot with sites large enough for privacy.

1 night at Peace Of Pisgah

I loved glamping on Vicki's property. We booked site #2. It was very secluded and had a creek running by it. Vicki was amazing and showed us around her beautiful property! It was so nice that the tent had an additional covering so we could stay dry in the rain. The site had cots, sleeping bags, and even earplugs for sleeping. It was conveniently located 10 minutes from Brevard and close to so many beautiful hiking trails. Vicki sent us some of her recommendations! I will definitely come back here!

Weekend Trip to Private Yurt on a Farm with Creek

This is an amazing little yurt and campsite! Everything is very well thought out by farmer sprout and makes for a lovely little getaway. There is lots of misc camping equipment in the shed (so if you forget things like we did, you’re covered)! And the micro greens we added on were super yummy! We had such a pleasant weekend away watching fireflies and listening to the creek. 100/10 recommend!! Thank you farmer sprout!! As an aside, I was a little concerned about the compost toilet at first, but it was super easy to use and so much cleaner than any other campsite toilet I’ve ever used! Definitely don’t let that deter you!

From the public observation area, to the short steep hike to another overlook. From the extremely warm showers and to the absolute wonderfulness of the spa. Clean portajohns and multiple trash cans. This campground offers so much in relaxation. William is very kind and was able to answer any questions quickly, even the dumber ones we had while putting together what was what at our yurt location. We rented MTG 5. In walking the grounds, we would have selected 1, 3,4, 2 and then 5 in that order. 1 gives you the very best view but you are near the common area which can get very populated at sunset. That was actually kind of cool to have the whole village come together to stand in awe. 5 was ok but it was slanted more than any other site so we were unable to play with many things we brought for entertainment. It was a great weekend though. Perfect weather. There are whippoorwills on the property and if you have not experienced them, they can be a challenge as they sing their song with some fervor and consistency. But we went and bought ear plugs which totally did the trick. Google tells me those birds will sing until July. So be prepared if you are a light sleeper. But the yurts were comfortable and sleep was easy The spa is 100% worth renting. You are isolated and while on the platform you experience yet another wonderful view. The cedar smell of the sauna really lifted my spirits. The warmth of the tub. The heater. The shower. Everything was thought about. 10/10 for the spa.

Weekend Trip to Peace Of Pisgah

I just wrapped up a fun-filled weekend at Peace of Pisgah (Site 2). The location is great, minutes from the Pisgah Forest main entrance, as well as downtown Brevard. The layout with the sites is very accommodating and accessible, yet each site has plenty of privacy. The fact that the tent is just feet from a small flowing creek adds to the ambiance. Perhaps the most special thing about Peace of Pisgah are the owners. Vicki and her husband are genuinely nice people who went out of their way to ensure my visit was no less than stellar. The whole area, from the tent site to the shower and privy, are decorated with niceties from Vicki's artistic touch. Thanks for such a quiet and relaxing stay :)

1 night at Starlight Hills

We brought our kids here for Mother’s Day and it was overall a great experience. We were excited that they offer a sauna so we reserved that for 2 hours. The hot tub was wonderful and very hot however the sauna wasn’t hot enough to make anyone sweat. If you are in it for the sauna on a cold day then I would reconsider, however if you’re in it for the hot tub then go for it! Beautiful look out views. Hot showers that were very clean. William was a great host.

This experience was exactly what we were looking for when we wanted a peaceful, beautiful place to reconnect with our daughters away from the digital world. We had a blast! We will definitely come back and will tell our friends.
