Weekend Trip to Charlotte's Whispering Pine Farm

I've camped here several times but this was the first we shared the campground with others. 3 other groups camped out on one night and it didn't effect the trip at all. There is so much room to spread out with little established sites with firepits for your choosing. Can't wait to go back

Patricia’s land is beautiful. The campsites are woodsy and private. The Sundance RV we stayed in was comfy and well supplied. Patricia generously donated a couple of items we forgot. Also, we were able to have a few friends join us for fun around the campfire one night. We really enjoyed the trails for walking our dog, who was welcomed by Patricia and her dog, Vader.

Had a great time camping at Green Acres. Very quiet with easy access to Hwy 17 and the Brunswick Beaches. Site 3 was very flat and settled in the back corner of the field. Tons of space made the campground feel very open. I will definitely be returning for more trips.

We had a sweet spot hidden by trees. It was nice and private. I loved how pretty and well maintained the whole place was. Theres a fun little trail that winded through the wood behind the campspots and lots of grassy space to play and relax.

Scott is very friendly and welcoming. He had water ready for us and even treats for my dog! He gave us good recommendations to local restaurants and the best places to take the dog to the beach. The site felt private and had a compost toilet. We woke up to the noises of the rooster, but the animals on the property stayed to themselves and were cool to see. Overall we had a great stay.

There was access to water and plenty of space for 1 group. Additionally, the land was very close to the beach and stores which was nice. Very clean area and would highly recommend to stay!

Tons of room to set up a rooftop tent and campsite. We had a peaceful night of rest during our trip. My dog had a great time investigating the farm. Since it is a farm, expect farm animal noises at night and in the morning. Danny and his wife were very welcoming.

We absolutely loved it here! The campsite is beautiful and peaceful and the host is incredibly accommodating and friendly. Our puppy was in heaven getting to play with Vader during our stay. Highly recommend!!

Such a well kept quiet RV park, all hookups worked as they should and area around space was clean and mowed. We stopped in the coffee shop on the last day for a coffee and hot breakfast sandwiches and were very impressed. We would highly recommend this park and will definitely stay again.

It was literal perfection from start to finish! It’s the sweetest area, so remote and quaint! All the wildlife; fishing, turkeys and everything that you can expect to come along in the Lowcountry! Besides the fact that it is the cutest set up, the bed was super comfy, they had all the essentials you could possibly think of. I will 100% be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend far enough away to feel like I got away but close enough for emergencies!

Isla Mas Afuera

3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range. I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free. Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome. I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

It is a little tough to get in there due to over growth. We have so many deer, coyotes, wild turkeys, hawks, eagles, and supposedly wild pigs (I have never seen them). Those woods house so many animals and plants. So beautiful. Come on and visit Longford Ranch right here in beautiful Loris. A small town with a big heart and community. 30 minutes to beautiful beaches and ten minutes to golf courses and rivers. Rivers are all around Loris, we have the little Pee Dee River, Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal. Less than 34 miles to No. Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove beaches. We do have a tandem kayak. There are kayak rentals nearby. Go kayaking and see alligators sunning themselves, see a bald Eagle soar, everything is right there. We are also so close to the beautiful city of Conway. Also called Halloween town in October. The trees are all decorated through main street. The history is Conway is deep. Live Oaks (which are protected) are all through Conway. There is a beautiful River Walk too. Great restaurants for everyone's' tastes. Loris itself is beautiful. A very small quaint earthy town. We do have two great restaurants and an amazing bakery. We are so close to many state parks, where you can walk around and take it all in. Very close to Myrtle Beach and No. Myrtle where the nightclubs and big shops are. Come and stay at Longford Ranch and get away from all the beach traffic, and see the real South Carolina.
