The Alpine Inn is a beautiful and rustic lodge with absolutely stunning views! Perched at 3,200 feet on the side of Grassy Mountain, the Alpine Inn offers the best views in North Carolina, just one mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway (milepost 334) in Little Switzerland. Due to Hurricane Helene, we’ve made some changes. Our main buildings, including the lobby and dining area, were lost, so check-in and check-out are now self-service. With no lobby or reception desk, online reservations are encouraged. Excellent, unique accommodations. The communal outdoor space was very charming and the cabin itself was functional and stylish, with work being done to a high standard. Less than 10 mins from town, yet rural and cozy. Communication was prompt and efficient, with an easy check-in/check-out. I really couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks!

2 nights at Cozy Cabin w/Hot-Tub

Such lovely hosts and the views from their property will set your soul at rest. Everything from the tall trees that embrace the cabin to the beautiful songs of nature. Unfortunately the forecast had my husband and I in house slippers and napping during the entirety of our visit but it was exactly what we needed. The first morning we lost power but Greg was so kind to stop by and offer to pick us up some breakfast as he made his errands and Marsha kept us updated on things until the power was back on. The cabin was so clean with a relief to us as we don’t wear shoes inside and all of the linens, towels, throws etc were all perfectly clean as well. All the amenities were well provided and well thought out. This is the coziest place I’ve stayed through HipCamp and we can’t wait to come back to explore more of the area before snowfall.

The cabin was a perfect getaway weekend for my husband and I (and our dog). It was 20 degrees outside the nights we stayed, but the cabin was warm and cozy with everything we needed. We loved hiking up to the tower and having a campfire at night. The hot tub was the best part! Stone Mountain Park is a short drive away and is one of the best parks in N.C. highly recommend!!
