Perfect for a trip to Charlotte (~30min away) w/ my partner and dog! The bed in the camper was comfy, bathroom/shower/kitchen was clean, and the site itself was very cute! The host was kind enough to set up the fire pit (after the rain) for us while we stepped out, and was very easy to reach & accommodating! I appreciated that there was a tree tether by the fire pit for my curious dog, which made it so we could enjoy our time by the fire without having to hold her leash. The host also left bottled water which we also appreciated being on the go! It’s the small things that all add up :)

Robert was very friendly and has a beautiful piece of land. We have a popup camper and needed a place to stay for the night and found this gem. It’s perfectly between Greensboro and Charlotte and a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. There is a pond, bountiful wildlife, and even a few outdoor pianos! Teresa was a great host and has a lovely piece of property on the lake. the fhu campsite is a bit tricky to get into if you have a larger camper, but we did just fine. she met us at the driveway and walked us thru what we needed to do. we had a peekaboo view of the lake from the camper. the site was level side to side but a bit downhill. we had no issue getting level with our 28 ft tt. it’s a short walk down the hill to the dock behind her home.
