Secluded, private, and oh-so cozy! This will easily become your most favored get-away spot! The cabin is located at the end of a private gravel road with a fish pond and thousands of acres of peaceful wooded mountains at it's doorstep! And yes, there are hiking trails!
We built this cabin with you in mind. Everything was custom made by us; from the woodstove rock wall, to the cabinets and outdoor picnic table. You will instantly relax when you walk into this very special place. You will never want to leave!
The cabin includes a large front porch with rocking chairs where you will enjoy your warm tea or coffee each morning and evening while overlooking the peaceful pond and woods. There is an outdoor fire ring and picnic table where you can enjoy a campfire, cook on the open flame, and have smore's in the evening. Inside the cabin you will find everything to be incredibly beautiful and spaced to create the coziest atmosphere you've ever enjoyed. There is a wood burning stove indoors that when lit, takes the whole experience to the next level! But you don't have to rely on the woodstove for heat, we've installed a brand new wall unit for heat and air! You also have a DVD player and a television with an assortment of DVDs to choose from.
The cabin sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. There is a full size bed that sleeps 2 in the main room of the cabin. There is a loft above that sleeps 2-3 more. A rolling library ladder is how the kids will access the loft area! So fun!
The kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. A peaceful mood is set by warm-toned sawmill lumber walls, recessed lighting in the ceiling, a kitchen window above the sink that overlooks the side yard campfire area and beautiful woods surrounding the cozy cabin.
The bathroom is so nice with a stand-up shower, hand-made oak vanity, and a door to the "star-gazing" porch.
Flood lighting lights up the area around the cabin at night so you might spot a deer, fox, or even a bear traveling through or getting a drink of water from the pond.
You will instantly relax at the coziest cabin on earth. You deserve a get-away that actually recharges you! This cabin is for the couple or family that just wants to take a much needed break from the real world. You’ll meet our horses, mini donkeys, goats, pig, chickens, geese, and even our emu—plus Minnie, our sweet livestock guardian dog who roams the farm and loves to greet guests. Kids and adults alike love watching the animals play and wander. While you’re welcome to walk along the fence lines to get close, please don’t feed them for their safety.
We (your hosts, Jonathan and Tonya) live here on the farm, along with a few other rental homes on the property. Each home is private, and we ask that guests respect others’ space while still enjoying everything our farm has to offer.

Due to Hurricane Helene, we’ve made some changes. Our main buildings, including the lobby and dining area, were lost, so check-in and check-out are now self-service. For questions, visit our onsite Food Trailer, which serves breakfast and dinner from the Two Guys and a Taco trailer, offering both tacos and the Alpine Inn menu all day from 7am to 7pm unless business is too slow.
With no lobby or reception desk, online reservations are encouraged. We appreciate your patience as we rebuild and continue providing a peaceful retreat between Asheville and Boone, perfect for exploring Mount Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and more.
We have a large covered picnic table, gas grill, charcoal grill, swing, and chairs, all available for guests to use at no extra charge. On many nights, we start a fire in our propane firepit and invite everyone to join us. It usually starts at dusk and ends around 10:30pm. There’s a comfortable cushioned swing and chairs. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy an evening fire in the mountains.
Inside the guest lounge, there’s a television with wifi reception, games, books, and a telescope. There’s also a Crane Combo vending machine with many snack options including an assortment of cold drinks. You will also find your coffee fix in the mornings with the airpot coffee dispenser free of charge.

This adorable little cabin was everything my fiancée and I wanted for a peaceful weekend getaway. The location feels very secluded and the cabin is surrounded by beautiful woods. So quiet and peaceful, we heard zero traffic noise. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to be off leash, and there are several little trails that were a blast to explore. The cabin was very comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed. Host was very helpful and responsive, we definitely would love to come back sometime in the future!

The cabin was so clean and cozy, well stocked with everything I needed. There are so many great little touches that make it extra homey. I loved watching the stars and enjoying the nighttime quiet, and exploring the woods by day. It was a really delightful escape and I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away but still wants some of the comforts of home.
