There are several campsites as well as a cozy bed in a cabin that you can stay in. The property used to be an orchard, until most was sold and converted to housing developments. My one acre and a few old cherry trees remains. Both the camping areas and the cabin are in sight of my house. But, there are plenty of areas to choose from. I can supply a fire ring and logs to burn if you are interested. Dogs allowed, as long as they get along with and don’t chase other animals. You must be animal friendly! I have a dog, two indoor/outdoor cats, and chickens.

Urban Off-Grid Campsite A rustic retreat with urban convenience. Escape to a unique outdoor getaway without driving far into the countryside. Situated on nearly two acres within city limits—including an acre of private woods to explore—this site offers a quiet, off-grid refuge with an open view of the night sky, far from intrusive streetlights. Site Features & Amenities * Gathering Area: Equipped with a central fire pit, surrounding seating, and outdoor tables for dining or relaxing. * Rustic & Off-Grid: Designed for traditional camping—please note there are no utility hookups, electricity, or running water on-site. * Parking & Convenience: Located adjacent to a local church parking lot for straightforward access. Location & Setting Expectations To ensure this property is the right fit for your stay, please keep the following in mind: * Urban-Adjacent Location: While the setting feels private and quiet with no immediate neighbors, the site is located within city limits rather than deep wilderness. * Ambient Sound: Due to proximity to local rail lines, passing train sounds may be audible overnight. If you are seeking a completely silent, deep-wilderness camping experience, this site may not be the ideal match. However, for guests looking to unplug while staying close to town, it offers the perfect balance.

Roseland Family Farm has been owned by the Almond family for 5 generations. It was once a working muck farm. It now has wetlands as well as the beginnings of a community garden enterprise. Learn more about this land: Primitive camping site with fire pit, picnic table, self-composting outhouse with sink&potable water, outdoor shower with instant warm water, and potable water at spigot provided. You can explore the property by foot and observe the wildlife or bike on the local roads. We are rural-suburban in nature. Webster is 10 minutes away, and Rochester is 20 minutes away. Here on 5 acres of property, there's room for 5-7 tents and 2-3 campers. There's electricity to charge up your phone and a very clean outhouse. Enjoy a ton of berry bushes waiting to get picked and a small pond with a sitting area. Enjoy the fire pit. Just minutes from the lakes. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: When you turn onto Ace Rd, the camp is the 3rd driveway down on the right. If you hit the dead end - you've gone way too far. Please look for the white sign that has #9520 on it (like the picture). PLEASE NOTE: If you need electricity to your camper or trailer, you can use whatever extension chords you see on-site, but I recommend you bring your own long one. Sometimes our campers walk away with ours and we can't guarantee there will be one there when you arrive.

Welcome, Mission Conesus, originally built by Franciscan Catholics. These lands were likely chosen for many reasons. Suffice it to say there is something special here. Come discover for yourself. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. See the provided map for site locations. Site 1 is open field and is near the pavilion, sites 2 and 3 are along the woods, and site 4 is the most private and tucked into the woods. We looking forward to hosting you, at the mission.

A lovely, 3 acre plot of secluded land surrounded by cute ponds and decorated with sculptures. A small campfire spot, wood stove in the trailer and a composting toilet. Want to unplug and get away from the busy life? Most mobile phones do not work here! We have only minimal solar electricity, and there is a propane stove as well! Two double beds, one single, and a couple of nice cots. Tent Sites abound! We bought this property about four years ago. It was trashed by the previous owner and had an old dilapidated trailer in the middle of it. We cleaned and cleaned, then we ripped out the bad parts of the trailer and rebuilt the insides, placed a huge metal roof over the whole thing and put in a composting outhouse. There's no running water, and phones don't get reception, so you can truly unplug and decompress in this lovely, quiet piece of land which is close to a ton of hiking / forest land and just down the road from Cummings Nature Center, a great place for family exploration and learning.

My husband and I bought our camp property when our children were young, and our kids grew up there. Between frog-catching contests, paddle boats, picnics, dirt biking, bonfires, camp outs, and the occasional wedding it was our special getaway. Now that the kids are growing up and going out on adventures of their own, we decided it's time we share our little piece of heaven with others, and so here we are, meeting new people from all over the world, making new connections, and enjoying the opportunity to share this beautiful woodland and pond property that we've been blessed with. We'd love for YOU to come enjoy a stay at this whimsical, delightful, sacred place.
