30mi from Arcade · 8 sites · Tents, RVs, Lodging · Olean, NY
Welcome to Firefly Aces where our land offers beautiful views of the valley and "Enchanted Mountains" by day and star filled skies at night. If you look long enough, you may even see some shooting stars. The property is 93 acres and offers well manicured hiking trails that can even be used for Mountain Biking enthusiasts. Wild animals such as deer, raccoons, fox, owls, hawks, humming birds, bald eagles and more have made the land their home. Fireflies tend to take over in the summer months, its a beautiful thing to see. It's the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature all while being close to restaurants and downtown Olean if needed. Enjoy cooking on our rustic fire pits or light a fire to just enjoy the crackling sounds and warmth at night. A safe place for kids to run around, enjoy family time and the simple pleasures Mother Nature has to offer. It's perfect for anyone who just wants to get away and immerse themselves in the country. We have 2 camp sites ready right now both come with a fire pit. One is more secluded which is campsite #2 and the one with the valley view is campsite #1. Showers are seasonal. The last day for shower use is Oct 15th. You’re more than welcome to bring your own portable shower hook up and use the shower house for privacy. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will need to have a cigarette lighter access to use the shower to power the pump. We recommend bringing flashlights as our property is solar powered and there is no electric on the property. On low sunny days, solar lights may not last as long into the evening. On rainy days the property can be very muddy and access to the top of the hill to the sites would be best accessed with a 4WD vehicle as well as winter time with snow on the ground. If you'd like to charge your phone we advise you to bring back up battery packs as there is now electric hook ups on site. The most private sites are Cloud 9, Bunny Pit and Lilou's Landing. The cottage is located down by the main house and not at the top of the hill. Pets are welcome, please clean up after your dog. * No firearms or explosive devices of any kind are allowed on the property.

Welcome, Mission Conesus, originally built by Franciscan Catholics. These lands were likely chosen for many reasons. Suffice it to say there is something special here. Come discover for yourself. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. See the provided map for site locations. Site 1 is open field and is near the pavilion, sites 2 and 3 are along the woods, and site 4 is the most private and tucked into the woods. We looking forward to hosting you, at the mission.

Sandbar Farm was purchased as our home and as a place for both sharing our love and knowledge of horses with others and providing a place for animals to re-group and sometimes recover in order to find their perfect human. Over the years, we have found that our human friends and relatives also find the farm to be fun, and a popular place to relax and re-group from everyday life. We hope that you will feel the same way after a visit. Learn more about this land: Beautiful camping spots among the pine trees. Wake up to deer and horses crossing the fields behind you, birds chirping and the fresh air smell of the great outdoors. Tranquility Trails is a Eco retreat center located on a private game preserve. It was established on 9-16-2013 in loving memory of my father, Frank Bileti. The center is nestled within 138 acres of the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in the Southern tier of Western New York. This is the ideal place for folks who enjoy secluded, quiet, private places to unwind, relax and commune with the elements of nature. Activities include: hiking, biking, snow shoeing, bird watching, wildlife observation, meditation, stargazing etc. We currently offer 2 cabins, a cottage, 3 tent sites (1 is fully furnished). The cabins, cottage, tent sites & trails are very private and secluded. Each site has its own private entrance. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt. It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. Truly a unique balance. Due to this balance, occupancy is limited. Small groups are welcome (contact us for pricing.) Ample parking & private picnic areas are also provided. No hunting, fishing or foraging allowed.

This campsite is a haven for groups seeking a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. It's the only campsite available on 140 acres of forested land, offering a serene atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. But, what makes this campsite stand out is how dog-friendly it is. If you're looking to take your furry friends along on the adventure, this is the perfect place for you. The site has plenty of place for them to run and even water to play in. The forested property also includes a 3/4 mile section of the old Erie Railroad, providing a unique opportunity to explore the area's natural beauty and history. Take a stroll along the level railroad bed, and you'll be surrounded by the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds. This campsite offers a fantastic opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature. And, if you have furry friends, they can be part of the fun too. A 150 square bunker is on-site just in case in rains. It has lights and the wifi works inside too. 10 minutes drive away from the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation with tax-free gas and smokeshops. Check the current weather conditions with our live streaming nature camera located about 1/4 mile upstream from the campsite. https://www.youtube.com/@Eriegrove

Learn more about this land: Every family has a story, welcome to ours. The Stone Shanty is a place to come and relax. Stargazers Welcome! We believe in the simple things and are based on the song from Jonathan Edwards - Shanty - (Jonathan Edwards, November 1971)https://youtu.be/vH5qJNl8qDM. Come and kick back on a log or in the tree house or even cool your feet in the pond. There is 80 acres for you to pick the right spot for you. We are a hunting family so in woods areas are off limits during hunting season (Oct. – Early Dec.), but we have beautiful closer by camping areas during that season. We are sure you won’t be disappointed. We are within minutes from MANY state parks including the GRAND CANYON OF THE EAST – Letchworth State Park. During Feb and March, we will be busy making MAPLE SYRUP! Check out our video Maple Master of West Sparta. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWCAbDdSXQY My late husband’s family has been making maple syrup for generations. Our children, grandchildren and friends are continuing the tradition. Summertime is filled with fishing and swimming and of course the occasional party. Stop in and see us!
