I'm in the process of putting back together and repairing a small house, and in the meantime, it makes for great indoor camping. There’s no shower, but the toilet and hot water work. It’s pretty bare-bones — that’s why I call it camping — but there’s a bed, a table, and some chairs. Pets are okay too! I’m about 3 miles from Old Town.

This was the perfect spot for my quick trip to Albuquerque. Tara was great with communication and the space was super cozy. Everything you might need for a good night's rest or more if you're needing a warm, safe, comfortable place to hang. The location is perfect for whatever your adventure brings, easy access to key spots on the city and beyond. Tara kindly provided bedding and the house has all the things you might need (minus a shower as she thoughtfully advertised). A great alternative to a vacation rental and better than camping (no gear required). Such a great offering!

We didn't get to stay long as we were in between long distance destinations but Melodie & Brent's place was awesome. And they were super patient with us with directions. Yes, as other's have said follow them to a T! We did find the distance on Twinning Rd (not marked that we could see but is literally two roads side by side) to be 2.8 rather than 2.6 miles and the Blue Moon container is so faded you can't see what it is until you are right up on it but other than that their directions worked perfectly. I'm neurospicy so specifics trip me up sometimes but they were patient with us and walked us through. The sunset was one of the best I've seen in a very long time and the sunrise was cotton candy gorgeous.

Had a great night at Michaela’s spot. Felt very safe and comfortable on my own. She was very welcoming and friendly when I arrived and was nice enough to make me coffee in the morning before heading out. We chatted and got to know each other a bit which was lovely. Tara's place was more than I had hoped for for a place to sleep during the balloon festival and adventures around Albuquerque. It's in a quiet neighborhood and near old town. She provided a comfy bed, extra bedding, dining table and chairs, microwave, toaster oven, small fridge, kitchen sink and toilet. If you have extra people she'll also provide an extra mattress. Remember to bring mosquito repellent, as there are many mosquitos in the area.

So, if you are looking for a home away from home, this place may be for you. This is how I want to be living on a daily basis. We parked our car on the designated gravel spot. Walked the signed trail to a deck dedicated to yoga while a ping pong table is 5 feet away. Going along the path further you see a bunny hanging out in the brush while little birds fly bush to bush alongside you. Then you spot the entrance to the tree house. Directly behind it is your fully equipped kitchen with seating and all under a tin roof. Then a fire pit is on your way to the outdoor bathroom. Don't worry you cross a bridge and step over marked rocks like on an adventure. A hot water shower, relaxes you while the trees hang over with the blue sky peaking through. This place was paradise! Thank you for being so creative and well equipped for every possible situation! Top Notch!

Great, open space that we felt comfortable in during our stay for the balloon fiesta! We had the place to ourselves midweek and were grateful for the short drive to the balloon parking - about 2 miles. On the day we were leaving, we got to enjoy a fantastic view of the balloons and had several land in the surrounding fields. Very cool experience! I anticipated it being a lot louder with it being in the city, but it was quiet and an awesome snag for an amazing price when everything skyrockets during fiesta week!

Taking in the view from our campsite, was breathtaking. Melodie and Brent were beyond helpful and equally amazing hosts. Their land is gorgeous, natural and clean. Sunsets, sunrises and everything in between. Our van died on the way back to our campsite. Melodie and Brent saved us. We drove from Oklahoma to NM.
