Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area at the little creek for serene enjoyment and private meditation. The camp site has a small firepit and picnic table and the cabin has a large firepit, a patio area, and back deck. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. The camping area is semi wooded. Both the campsite and little "log and have access to a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. The little 'log cabin' is a cozy and complete cottage with full kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed, and a pull out sofa, pull out chair and pack and play. (Sleeps 4). There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and restaurants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throughout the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. My property is an old blueberry farm. There is a cleared area that I use for dog training at the front of the property and some trails throughout the property; but mostly it’s a quiet place to sleep in a small/medium sized self-contained RV without slide-outs to the side (your RV or van must contain a toilet which must be emptied off-site. Further note: I DO NOT allow tents). Also, if your RV has low clearance, there is a slope from the road to the driveway, thus the bottom of your RV may scrape the ground (neither of my vans have a problem with this: I have a Ford E350 and a Ram Promaster). If on the site in July, you can pick a pint or two of blueberries (IF they are available) for your own use. The berries are chemical free. My neighbor to the right also has a pick-your-own farm with tended blueberry fields (you are not allowed to pick my neighbor’s crop unless he is there so you can pay him) My site is in the NJ Pine Barrens which is renowned for its unspoiled nature, abundant, and diverse wildlife. It is also within the Pinelands National Reserve and within the area designated by the United Nations as an International Biosphere Reserve. Nearby is the Batona Trail, the Franklin Parker preserve, canoeing on Chatsworth Lake or the Wading River, bicycling through the Pine Barrens and and the cranberry bogs on the bicycle lanes on Routes 532 and 563, the quaint village of Chatsworth also known as the Capital of the Pines, Hot Diggidy Dog a food stand within the village of Chatsworth, and Brendan Byrne State Forest which includes the historic cranberry farming village of Whitesbog where the cultivated blueberry was developed by Elizabeth White and Dr. Frederick Coville. The Whitesbog Preservation Trust which manages the village has an extensive year round calendar of events and a month-long blueberry festival during weekends in July.

This is definitely a camping resort. Great place for the family, especially if you have water babies. Lots of swimming, either at the two pools on site or the lake. There are other amenities, but I would say, swimming is the main attraction. We stayed up toward the front of the property and our site was big. Not super private but I'm sure there are sites that are. Well maintained and every employee we interacted was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful farm with beautiful sunrise and sunset opportunities. Everything was easily assessable. Donald was quick to respond and make sure we were set up. I thought it was going to be more secluded than it was. The host wasn’t home but it kinda felt like we were right in their backyard with clear view of the home from the evening fire pit. There was also a guess house. Not sure who the people were but on occasion they were walking in front of the barn on the gravel talking on the phone. This isn’t a complaint. We loved our time there. Thats just the only thing that I would like to have understood better.

I had a great stay here! The host was friendly and put in extra care to ensure I would be warm, comfortable, and felt safe. The site is nearby their house and garage, but the garage provides some privacy and it's right next to a big open field so it doesn't feel cramped or like you're just in someone's driveway. Probably could be a lower price for what it's offering, just in comparison to other places I've stayed on here. Regardless, it was the perfect spot for me to stop along my road trip, and I would probably stay here again.

I booked this spot around 9pm day of arrival. Jeanette’s husband was quick to communicate with me and happy to meet me at the spot around 10pm despite him needing to be up early the next day. Big open space to park. Lots of trails on the huge property that I unfortunately did not have time to explore. 10/10. Need a place to crash? This spot is great.

We got to Donald’s place late but he was gracious with our schedule and showed us everything we needed to get set up. He has a great spot, a perfect field for the dogs to run around (leashed.) I would definitely stay again!

Don is a wonderful host and this campsite is so serene, peaceful, and private… It’s just amazing! I had just picked up my new camper van and this was the first place I stayed on my trip home. Highly recommend 🚐👍

Weekend Trip to Hershey Lane Farm

Fantastic camping spot on a beautiful property. We came late and left early, but would have gladly stayed longer if we had the time. Great parking spot with electric nearby. Owner met us and guided us where to park since it was dark. Definitely recommend!
