Born and raised on a farm near Pauline, Nebraska, I found myself drawn back to my roots, eager to steward the land in a productive and regenerative manner. In 2020, after two years of dreaming, I embarked on the journey of Aunt Annie's Flower Farm.
My motivation to create this haven of blossoms was deeply personal. Having faced the challenges of infertility and the associated grief, I resolved to "create my own sunshine" by cultivating a sanctuary of beauty and life. Aunt Annie's Flower Farm serves as a place of solace and joy for my beloved nieces and nephews, and I extend the warmest invitation for you to share in this natural splendor.
My mission extends beyond personal fulfillment. I aspire to inspire my students, demonstrating that with dedication, ambition, and hard work, they too can transform their dreams into reality. It brings me great pride to witness one of my former students utilize our flower farm as their FFA Supervised Agriculture Experience, serving as our media specialist and, in turn, creating my logo.

The Sage Valley (4 Sites): Tucked into the lower acreage, these sites offer a deep sense of seclusion and are shielded from the rim-top winds.
THINGS TO KNOW
Access: Accessible via a desert dirt road. While a sedan can make the trip in fair weather, a 4WD or high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended for navigating the terrain.
Purely Primitive: This is a "Leave No Trace" off-grid property. There is no water, electricity, or trash service.
Mandatory Sanitation: To preserve the delicate desert ecosystem, all guests must bring their own portable toilet facilities.
The Elements: Come prepared for the Arizona sun and shifting temperatures. Bring plenty of water and shade!

I absolutely loved camping here. Gorgeous land, kind host (who showed me around the camp sites and let me pick my favorite), sweet dogs and horses! The white pony had so much patience with my dog who was meeting horses for the first time and running around like a maniac. You definitely have to drive back to the house if you want to use the bathroom/shower but it’s a huge bathroom and so nice to have a warm shower after several days camping on the road. Really enjoyed walking around the pasture and seeing the sunset behind the hills.

Our group really enjoyed staying at Jennifer’s. She was there to greet us at the gate, showed us around, and even picked a nice spot for us to set up our tents and vehicles. The site is very much in a pasture - you will be around cows, horses, and everything that goes along with it - but there is plenty of space and wide open skies. We did have high clearance vehicles; the drive in isn’t bad but 2wd might have trouble in the rain as the first hill down to the pasture is a little bit steep. There is a bathroom with a shower at the house, which is a bit of a drive from the campsite but very convenient to have nearby if you’re used to primitive camping. Jennifer is so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Her dogs were great and our dogs loved having space to run. We’d stay there anytime!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. I am driving across the country and needed a place to stay in Nebraska. The site was private while still being close to the road.
