The Mission Mountain wilderness is a 30-40 minute drive. In winter, the area is ideal for cross-country skiing (trails behind the property), snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.

Tally Lake, Montana’s deepest lake, is less than 8 miles up the road and offers opportunities for swimming, paddling, fishing, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty. If you head just up Tobie Creek Road, there’s a small, lesser-known fishing hole—a stocked lake with trout and pike that locals love for its peaceful vibe. This is a dry campsite with no hookups or amenities, so please come prepared with your own water and a toilet system. (Tent campers are welcome only if you bring your own composting toilet or bucket toilet setup.) A basic fire ring is available for use when fire restrictions are not in effect—please check current conditions. There's also a simple picnic table and plenty of trees for hammocks. Firewood is available as an extra you can add on to this booking- we will deliver it to the site ahead of your arrival time. Dry, split firewood is also available for purchase just next door from the site at 365 Tally Lake Road. Important Note: There is no cell service at the site. Be sure to download maps and save your directions before leaving service range. Flathead Lake (Finley Point) State Park is only 2 miles away. At the entrance to Finley Point, we have two great Restaurants, Finley Point Grill and the Smokehouse (Highly Recommended!). The town of Polson is 20 minutes away. You can find everything you need from supplies, to bars, restaurants, boat rentals, public parks, and even a casino. The town of Big Fork is only 45 minutes away and is a must-see. This town has an old-west feel with great shops, restaurants, a live theater, and an old iron bridge over the river. Glacier National Park is an hour and twenty minutes away. The driveway up to the orchard is made of gravel and is a bit steep at the beginning, At times there can be a few ruts so be cautious. Most standard passenger cars can make it up the driveway with no problem. Due to campers having trouble navigating the driveway with trailers we no longer allow trailers or RV's over 22 feet. Lowered vehicles are not recommended.

Tranquil and peaceful Seeley Creek RV sites on two acres with historic log cabins. Let the sounds of the creek lull you to sleep each night. Walkable to town, very close to the beaches and boat launches and endless wilderness access. We are a "mom and pop" operation with only the two sites on the back of our two acre property. We are in the process of putting new siding on the main house, so you will see some construction materials for the next couple weeks. Details about the spaces: -Firm gravel road base- can handle heavy rigs -50amp (we will have some plug adapters to use soon, but you will need your own adapter if you are less than 50 amp) -Potable water -Laundry access -Large loop driveway- ample space and parking for trailers, rigs, boats, sleds and other toys. Our property is on the border of the national forest and walking distance to town (multiple restaurants, shops and a golf course). Less than one mile to the Seeley Lake beaches or boat launches. Wilderness hiking, hunting, huckleberry picking are half a mile above the property. The forest behind the place has direct access to the Bob Marshall wilderness. The Mission Mountain wilderness is a 30-40 minute drive. In winter, the area is ideal for cross-country skiing (trails behind the property), snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.

Located at the corner of Tally Lake Road and Tobie Creek Road (NF-2924), this private spot offers the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility—just 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 45 minutes to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The property is filled with towering Fir and Larch trees, and it would not be uncommon to see many deer or the occasional wild turkey or songbirds fluttering around. This site sits on a mostly flat, graveled driveway with plenty of room to park and set up. Surrounded by forest and backed by public land, it's a great basecamp for outdoor adventure. You'll find direct access to mountain biking and hiking trails right off the property, including the Tally Lake Overlook Trail and Stovepipe Trails. Tally Lake, Montana’s deepest lake, is less than 8 miles up the road and offers opportunities for swimming, paddling, fishing, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty. If you head just up Tobie Creek Road, there’s a small, lesser-known fishing hole—a stocked lake with trout and pike that locals love for its peaceful vibe. This is a dry campsite with no hookups or amenities, so please come prepared with your own water and a toilet system. (Tent campers are welcome only if you bring your own composting toilet or bucket toilet setup.) A basic fire ring is available for use when fire restrictions are not in effect—please check current conditions. There's also a simple picnic table and plenty of trees for hammocks. Firewood is available as an extra you can add on to this booking- we will deliver it to the site ahead of your arrival time. Dry, split firewood is also available for purchase just next door from the site at 365 Tally Lake Road. Important Note: There is no cell service at the site. Be sure to download maps and save your directions before leaving service range. The town of Polson is 20 minutes away. You can find everything you need from supplies, to bars, restaurants, boat rentals, public parks, and even a casino. The town of Big Fork is only 45 minutes away and is a must-see. This town has an old-west feel with great shops, restaurants, a live theater, and an old iron bridge over the river. Glacier National Park is an hour and twenty minutes away. The driveway up to the orchard is made of gravel and is a bit steep at the beginning, At times there can be a few ruts so be cautious. Most standard passenger cars can make it up the driveway with no problem. Due to campers having trouble navigating the driveway with trailers we no longer allow trailers or RV's over 22 feet. Lowered vehicles are not recommended.

We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

The site fit my needs for a place to camp while reffing soccer at the nearby Smith fields. The two sites are next to each other, but the other one was empty so I had plenty of privacy. The toilets were clean even if one was about out of paper. You can hear highway 40 due to the proximity, but it was not bad just some white noise. I would return.

Finally, two level sites which made setting up a breeze. Speaking of a breeze, quick walk to the heart of Seeley. We grabbed a burger for an easy dinner and espresso/chai tea in the morning. Light road noise but quiet at night. We will be back!

We found Richard’s RV site just as expected from his pictures and description. It’s was very pleasant to have a place all to ourselves and an added bonus to be greeted by his beautiful friendly dogs. We sat at the picnic table just under the trees and enjoyed the view of the mountains. His place was just 20 minutes to the entrance of Glacier Natl park where we spent 3 days. And we were also able to enjoy restaurants and live music in Columbia Falls at a fine place suggested by Richard. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we visit the area.

Adjacent the Mission Mountains, Peck Lake Road is a rare foothills through route with access to hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and exploring! Along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route GDMBR (bikepacking route) on Peck Lake Road, in the Swan Valley, Montana, a short walk to Jim Creek for a crisp plunge. This hard sided campsite hosts a Remodeled Dry cabin with Power and Queen-Double bunk bed, dining table with chairs and a covered porch. The Second Living Unit is a well kept 2018, Jayco travel trailer with slide-out that sleeps 4 comfortably (up to 6), and has full utilities (water/power/sewer) and includes A/C, 3 burner range, microwave, bathroom with standup shower (5 gallon RV water heater), outdoor shower, private master with RV Queen mattress. The rear living setup allows for a large living/dining/kitchen area. The futon folds down into a full bed, and the dinette drops into a double futon 4” pad for extra campers or sleeping separately. This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. Minutes to other local trailheads and public land and water way access. Notes: There is plenty of additional parking, but no additional RV hookups. Tent camping is not recommended at this site, nor is outdoor cooking since there is a high density of bears in the area, but campers are welcome to stay and there is room inside the dry cabin for your gear! If additional, covered storage is needed for 1 or 2 bikes, please contact the host for access to the small storage shed. Bring your bear spray. Store all food and trash inside the hard sided cabin or RV in the provided containers.
