Great spot! Perfect place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. Very close to the entrance- we had a wonderful stay with our dogs. Plenty of space for our big dog to run free. The site was clean, spacious and great with a fire pit and table. Everything we needed. We would stay again without hesitation!

We booked this Hipcamp as a stopping point along a 10-day, multi-state RV trip and we are SO glad we did. We stayed 2 nights and wish we would’ve stayed a 3rd. It was so peaceful and serene. It was truly the definition of a relaxing experience. The views from our panoramic window were gorgeous, especially at sunrise, and the nighttime sky was insane. We would love to make the trek back someday to enjoy this beautiful oasis again.

Such a beautiful well-maintained camp spot for our 23 foot RV. It had the basic necessities like electric in water, no pumped out. But the spot was very quiet and enjoyable. We didn’t get to meet the host, but you can tell that they put a lot of hair in their property. I would definitely stay there again.

If you’re looking for somewhere close to Glacier National Park with water/electric hook ups, this place is for you!! our dogs enjoyed being off leash as well :) however, the sites were closer than we thought. i would recommend renting both RV spots if possible, there is really only a few small trees separating you. since we went at the end of the season we didn’t have a problem but I could easily see it getting pretty crowded during peak months.

Great little campsite that’s easy to access. We stayed in site 4. There was a 50 amp hookup as well as water hookup available. The site also had a picnic table and a charcoal grill. The lodge was clean and the bathroom and shower were very convenient. There was lots to do within a 10-15 minute drive including the Glacier National Park west entrance.

Great campsite close to GNP, Columbia Falls, and Whitefish 🙌🏻. The campsite was well prepared, had a nice picnic bench with an umbrella (what a treat), and, of course, electricity and water are always a bonus 😊. We had two dogs with us, and taking a quick walk around the site was easy without disturbing the other campsite: great experience, great communication, and accommodation. Highly recommended 🌟!

This spot is such heaven I had to stay another night!
Imagine finding a bucolic and peaceful wild camping spot- a big clearing with majestic 180* view, wildflowers and herbs all around, and behind you a forest of giant firs and pine, where if you’re as lucky as I was, get to see a herd of elk passing by, as well as plenty of deer. You’re high enough to be above the heat and the bugs, and the only sounds are the birds, the coyotes serenading at night, the whistles of the elk in the woods, and an occasional rooster call from somewhere down below. And as others mentioned, the night sky show above too.
And so you’re imagining your perfect wild camping spot right? Now add in the fact that it is pristine- unfortunately so many great camp spots are filled with trash and other nuisances. Or if you’re at a campground or even most Hipcamp places, you’re lined in next to other campers. Near a road. Something that takes away from the magic. Here you have the sweet spot all to yourself. Plus electricity and running water!
I have traveled and camped all over the country- wild places, campgrounds, Hipcamp, blm, all of it. This is a gem of a place and a rare find!
Also- Jeff, the host- is incredibly accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond to any messages!

We loved this camp spot. It was very private and had amazing views. Jeff communicated well and answered any questions we had. It was just a few miles to the Clark Fork River where we went paddle boarding and took the dog swimming in every day. It was great! We have a 35 ft fifth wheel and a short bed pickup. We had to be a little creative to get out of the spot but we managed. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved Camp Caribou! Yeah, yeah…the train….I was in a tent and I think it only came through 2, maybe 3 times each night…didn’t honk excessively like I’ve heard other trains do…did his thing and I fell right back to sleep (and I was in a tent!). Because besides that, Tomi’s place was incredibly quiet and peaceful. And only FIFTEEN minutes from Glacier’s West entrance so I was able to be at my first hike super early to secure parking. And the lodge?? OMG….a camper’s dream! Hot shower, fridge, microwave, TV with DVDs, wifi, coffee….I mean….I felt like I was at an Airbnb and not just a campground! I only did 2 nights, but loved the firepit setup and would have used it if I stayed longer, for sure. And last, but certainly not least, Tomi was an incredible hostess….very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and sweet. I’m not sure when I’ll get back to the area, but Camp Caribou will be my top pick if I do ever return! Highly recommend!

The perfect campsite if you love privacy, nature, quiet, and stars. We saw the Milky Way and shooting stars every night. The sunrises are spectacular over the mountains. We saw more deer than we could count and even heard a wolf howling in the distance. We later confirmed that it was a wolf with a local neighbor who also heard it. This is our second stay at Fox Lane and I’m sure not our last! Thank you for the new picnic table and fire pit!!

This was our second visit to Jeffrey’s peaceful and beautifully remote campsite, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and unwind, surrounded by nature with a sense of true solitude. There are plenty of sightseeing opportunities just a short drive away, and we loved how close the fishing spots were—just minutes from the site.
The campsite itself has seen some great improvements since our first visit. Jeffrey added a picnic table and a fire pit, which made our stay even more comfortable. To top it off, he surprised us with some firewood, which was a really thoughtful gesture—especially considering we were his very first guests last year!
One of our favorite parts of staying here is the sky. The area is perfect for stargazing, and the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. It’s hard to capture in words just how peaceful and scenic the evenings are.
Overall, another great experience at a truly special place. Thanks again to Jeffrey for being such a thoughtful host. We’ll definitely be back!
