We think we've got some surprises in store for you when you get here. You'll find us located just off Highway 65 in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We're seven minutes from Branson, one of the busiest tourist destinations in the Midwest, but take the five-minute ride or walk down to Base Camp and you'll feel miles away from it all.
Howler is imagined, designed, and maintained by riders who love our unique terrain and wanted to pull the best from it. Our trails are built with all skill levels in mind with a clear goal of rider progression.
But Howler Bike Park Stays isn't just for riders! We've got all kinds of things to do for riders and non-riders alike!
Start your day in Base Camp, the hub of activity at Howler. If you need a caffeine kick to get you started, we've got you covered with a specialty coffee drink, blended, or smoothie at Howler Coffee Shop!
And, Chef Dustin is now serving breakfast with three delicious options to power you up for your day!
Around noon and throughout the day, you can enjoy Chef's insanely-delicious food at the Growl Grill.
Stop in the Welcome Center for bike passes, Howler merch, and bike gear.
Are you shredding with us and need a new tube or tire change? We have got you taken care of in Howler Bike Co. next to the Welcome Center.
We have beer and wine available at the Growl Grill, and you’re welcome to take your purchases to your tent to enjoy!
New in Spring 2023, is our Skills Park and our Children's Play Area-complete with a mini pump track for Stryders or small bikes--and a beautiful cedar swing set!
We also have a mile round trip Hiking Trail through the woods where you can see glimpses of riders shredding the mountain trails. Feel like a break at the top of the hike? We've got a picnic table so you can enjoy the scenery and eat some mouth-watering food from the Growl Grill!
We also have our all-new bathrooms and showers, complete with shampoo/body wash and hair dryers.
And you can keep all your necessary items near you while you ride with our all-new lockers. They're free and you only need to enter a four-digit code of your choosing to use them.

Lakefront- 16 Miles from Branson!

Edgewater Beach Resort has several privately owned cabins available to rent through Airbnb. I own/manage 3 cabins and the 2 lakefront RV sites. Each site comes with electric, water, and sewer hookups, a picnic table, and a private firepit with a grilling rack. The sites are large and separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort offers an outdoor pool, a playground, a fish cleaning station, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for an additional $16/night. You can fish anywhere along the water's edge or off the docks. Ozark Beach Dam is 1 mile away, and the fishing there is always excellent. Empire Park is also located next door. It offers lots of fishing spots, hiking trails, a disc golf course, and a playground.

Float, Fish, Swim or vacation in the Ozarks. We have approximately 3 acers of the 15 we own set aside for camping. Plenty of room for two campsites on cleared, level land adjacent to the James River. We offer a dumpsite for holding tanks, water from our well to fill your water tank and electricity to charge devices and RV batteries at my barn. Also in 2023 I added a port a potty for tent campers. Generator rental available. Located about halfway between Springfield, MO. and Branson, MO. Nearby attractions include canoe rental, trout fishing, and mountain bike park.
Please note, This campground is located in a floodplain and weather related cancellations are common. If you are camping to be close to nearby attractions or don't mind a muddy, flooded river I can let you camp on higher ground. Not quite as private but still lots of room.
Fish, Fish, Fish. This river is primed for fishing. You will have to bring your own boat, or float as I don't have good river bank fishing access. There is a state park boat ramp a short distance away. The steps in the photos are plenty sturdy to tie boats to overnight. This river is fishable with flat bottom jet drive boats most of the spring and early summer and floatable year round. You can float to your campsite and relax instead of waiting in line at the boat ramp.
Also we are located about 13 miles from Crane Creek, A blue ribbon trout park. You can camp here and fish there.

You can expect a fully equipped camper with electrical service, water, sewer, WIFI, cable TV, full kitchen with all the pots, pans and dishes to make up a good meal! (The pictures do not include things like the flat-screen TV, Coffee Pot, and pillows due to the newness of this property. But don't worry, these items will be included for your stay!)
ABOUT THE CAMPER
This is a one bedroom camper. The master bedroom has a queen size bed that is so comfy, quality linens and bed side lighting with plenty of room for clothes and storage. The second bedroom has the collapsible dining room table-bed (Sleeps 2) and a single bed that is a murphy styled couch (Sleeps 1). The kitchen has plenty of room for prepping and a generous amount of counter space. The living room has a flat screen TV (not shown in pictures due to this being so brand stinkin' new)!
The bathroom has a walk in shower. It's a little larger than most camper bathrooms but it's still a camper bathroom. The sofa and eat-in table are both padded very nicely and super comfortable. There is also an outdoor shower area.
ABOUT THE CAMPGROUND
Branson View Campground is one of the more popular campgrounds in the area. Known for it's beautiful views of Branson and the Ferris Wheel, it's been a popular destination for travelers for years. The campground includes: 2 full bathhouses, 33 acres of walking trails, outdoor pool, Friday night movie night during summer, viewing decks, coin-op laundry, multiple sitting areas, paid boat storage, shuffle board and amazing views, firepit at camper, BBQ Grills and meeting places.

The creek borders a beautiful meadow and flows during the wetter months. A pond sits near the back of the property and is a great place to spot wildlife.
We are located less than 30 minutes from downtown Eureka Springs, as well as under an hour from Branson and the Buffalo National River areas. We have 40 acres of woods, waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails you can hike just behind the campground. They lead to a creek you can follow for moderate hike. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind anyone consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. We are looking forward to seeing you.
