Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. 1855 Campground is 45 acres of private property, dedicated to the natural Ozark experience. We border the Mark Twain National Forest, enjoy the outdoors at its best. Our space offers 7 large campsites to provide privacy & serenity.
Site 1, Little Brushy Creek with parking.
Site 2, Nancy’s Landing, smaller site close to the creek with parking.
Site 3 Bills Hill, located high up in the woods.
Sites 4 & 5 Walnut Grove, large flat grassy sites in a meadow with wildflowers.
Site 6 Hidden Hollow, located in a private cove.
Site 7 Roberts Mountain located high up in the woods.
Sites 3-4-5-6-7 are remote wooded campsites. Accessible by foot only & upon request a free shuttle of your camping gear. MUST arrive before 8pm when booking these remote sites.
Bordering the National Forest, so hiking is abundant & encouraged. Far from the city is ideal for star gazing & amazing photo ops. There is a year round freshwater spring flowing nearby. Enjoy fishing, swimming in the pond or babbling brook that runs alongside the property.

The office is open 9 to 9 daily through the season. It’s worth noting that the office/ house is “off grid”. Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water.
Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. Darrell and Jeanna were excellent hosts; they were friendly and helpful while also being mindful of the importance of the solitude needed to thoroughly enjoy their beautiful property. We will definitely go back for another visit (or more).
This visit was towards the end of November, so the shower and privy were welcome comforts in the brisk weather, though also invigorating. Fireside relaxation was the primary activity as we watched an impressive variety of birds by the pond. With the lack of light pollution, the stargazing opportunities were a treat. We hope to be back for the wine harvest next year!

Weekend Trip to Arcadia Valley Outdoors Land
We camped in the safari tent and had a cozy lovely time. Although it was in a loop with other campsites it felt plenty private, set back from the road and separated from the other sites by plenty of trees. Didn't end up trying the tub, but it looked nice. The wood stove kept us warm throughout the night, and the solar power bank and water pump were a nice touch.

Let me say!!!
Daniel was an amazing host! We showed up hours after check-in, and he was still there to greet us with a smile. He was super accommodating and made our stay easy and enjoyable. The pizza on-site is so good — highly recommend grabbing one.
Our tent site had electric and water hookups and enough space for a few tents if you plan it right. Even though it rained and we had to leave early (our own lack of prep!), we loved how private and quiet it was. Our dog had a blast running around, too.
The bathrooms and showers were surprisingly nice — not an afterthought like some campgrounds. My only suggestion would be adding a small grill grate over the fire pit for cooking hot dogs or brats.
We’ll definitely be back!

Arcadia Valley Outdoors was the best camping experience I’ve had! It was so easy to enter the campground and find our site, Old Country. Old Country was secluded from the other sites, which we LOVED! It was good to know we had neighbors nearby, but good we had our own space. Old Country was very clean and it was plenty of space for all our camping needs! It was so perfect :) We will be coming back!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Dragonfly. It was everything we wanted and more. The host was so friendly, welcoming and she makes the best chocolate chip cookies. Everything was so easy to use and we enjoyed the land and it’s not too far from town. There was a sweet kitty we met roaming around the pond. The camper was warm and a snug fit in the bed for two adults. The outdoor shower is definitely a highlight. It was so fun and refreshing. It was a rainy weekend and the shower got so hot it was perfect mixed with the cold rain!

Me and my girlfriends had an amazing trip at Arcadia Vally! We were worried about the campsites being too close but we were not interrupted by any of the other noise. To anyone staying, I highly recommend this campsite over the others in the area! Lots of room for a big tent and even trees very suitable for a hammock. One thing I would like to mention, the road is gravel on the way to the campsite. Be aware if your vehicle is not suitable on rougher terrain.

Very nice owner. The spots had plenty of room and were well laid out. I did have to use my mascerator pump to dump the tanks due to the sewer connection being uphill from our tank hook-ups. If your tank hook-ups were at the rear of your RV this would not be an issue but ours are forward of the axles. The park is in a good and quiet location.

193889/10 awesome experience! Even though the waters were low due to the drought, the swimming holes were still deep and clear enough to do a couple laps. There were also several cool rocks/crystals that I spent my time hoarding 😅 I will most likely be back in the spring to fill another shelf. Michelle was also super sweet, and I could text her no matter what and she was very prompt with answering. She also gave me fresh eggs! Which with current grocery prices came at a perfect time to save my bank account 😂 Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded retreat with nature. The noises from the other campsite didnt bother me, and I could even comfortably stargaze from a hammock i set up in the trees 🙏🏾
