All You Need is a 111 acre paradise that is home to some VERY unique and endangered habitat. Our northern boundary is a tract of DeSoto National Forest, where we have practically exclusive access to another 90 acres of longleaf pine savannah and more bottomland creeks.
The sandhills are a "desert in the rain," home to prickly pear cactus and yuccas, abundant lichens (deer "moss"), the endangered black pine snake, and our mascot, the also endangered Gopher Tortoise.
We're a nature education and retreat center where we share permaculture practices, homesteading/sustainable living skills, conservation practices, and approaches to connecting more deeply to the land. Check out our sister non-profit, the Burrow Nature Center.
You will have access to our many walking paths and our swimming pond, as well as a 15 minute walk to part of DeSoto National Forest, which butts up to our property line.
We would love to have you as our guest on the land, and are especially eager to meet travelers who deeply love nature and want to live in better relationship to it!
Check in is between 2pm - 8pm, Check out is 11am. There's a fee for late check-in to our site.

The primitive camping along the way is hot in the summer, but prime for misty morning photography and inky orange sunsets...worth it! Off-road the Rattlesnake Bay Trail or hike the Tuxachanie trail with your crew for a day of laughs deep in the pines. You can pretty much camp forever here too, so pack up a week or two worth of gear, and really dig deep into what Desoto has to offer.

95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

Wildlife abounds with deer, rabbit, squirrel, fox, racoon, opossum, armadillo, chipmunk among other forest dwellers. The lake is in a natural flood bottom and is stocked with largemouth bass, perch, channel catfish and natural flathead catfish which came in through the creek which runs through the land.

77 acres of rolling hills along the headwaters of Haley's Creek with a 1 m waterfall into a 4-ft deep pool and beautiful hardwood and pine forest all around. A Rustic road courses along with the creek and several offshoots for mountain biking or hiking. The waterfall and pool are a 1/2 mile hike into the property on the primitive road. Gravel is only provided at the entrance area, encircling the metal shed. Any driving off the gravel runs a risk of getting stuck in the slippery clay/mud. Rainwater barrels and 110 electricity are available at the metal shed. Off leash is fantastic as long as your good with it. Lots of room to run. Jon boats with motors, Kayaks and ATV's always ok. Large stretches of sand bars when water permits. Not far from I-20. Great cell reception. Good restaurant down the road in Bovina. Loves truck stop just down the road. The existing road going in "Vickors Rd" can be bumpy, dusty, wet and may hold pools of water at times but the road itself is solid and will support the heaviest of vehicles.

I went tent camping on Vincent’s land. The hike through the stream to the waterfall was beautiful. There’s plenty of space to setup, power available and an outdoor covered pavilion behind the metal building. The noise from the road and railroad is noticeable, but the convenience of the site balances that out. You can take a short, easy hike into to the woods to get away from it all.

This is a great little glamping spot! Exactly what we were looking for! Like the property name says… it has all you need. That said, if you like creature comforts, bring your own.
Perfect spot for a couple’s getaway in the woods for a night or two. The site is close to other camp sites but feels private and secluded. We hope to be back soon!

I stayed at site #3 and had a wonderful time! Big spot, plenty of room to pull my truck in and quickly unload my stuff. Great shade where my stand up hammock fit nicely. Plenty of room to tie my dogs out. Easy access to the creek, right down a path (definitely recommend water shoes for the water). Really wished I brought a treat for the sweet donkey!!

Highly recommend Creekside Farm. The owners/hosts are invested in your experience and are available to help if needed. The property is beautiful and well cared for.
