We do not have any farm animals but there are some in area so the normal farm smells blow through on occasion. We have a 7 hole disc golf course on the property. We have six 30 amp/110 electric hook ups and 2 water hook ups. There is plenty of room to play yard games. The historic Dodd Ford bridge just 3 miles away. The small town of Amboy is just 4 miles away. There is a Casey's gas station in town and a couple different dining options. The starts are amazing at night out here.

Life jackets available for youth and adults. The River Farm once owned by Ulysses S. Grant and purchased from former Speaker of the House Rod Searle's family. It was nicknamed the Jewel of Waseca County because of it's scenic area of the LeSueur River Valley, rolling hillside and diverse topography. Remote valley offers peace and quite with a few frogs, fireflies to enjoy in the summer nights. We are located in a very small farming community about 15 miles south of Interstate 90 in North Central Iowa. We have 3 sites available. All are full hookup. Our trees have been trimmed, our road is nice and wide, and there is plenty of room to maneuver. There is a restaurant across the street with great food (Buckets Bar & Grill) and don't miss the tack, leather, and shoe shop downtown that will turn 100 years old in 2025. Gruis recreation and golf course is 10 miles straight south. Winnebago Industries in Forest City Iowa is 30 miles away and they offer free daily tours. Camp Algona POW Museum and nativity is 30 miles away and The Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend Iowa is 50 miles away. ***We are very flexible so if something doesnt fit your plans quite right, please ask about it.
