Great getaway not too far from home but far enough to feel like an escape! The site was secluded yet still close to nearby towns for anything needed. Having electric hookups was a major plus. Perfect spot for a quiet adult getaway.

You truly are sitting lakefront. I sat on a couple of boulders and just watched the waves. So incredibly peaceful.
Instructions were clear and directions were easy to follow.
One thing I will note is that you truly are rural - there is a grocery store and a few food options, but it's limited. Of you are an early riser, know that many of the food establishments open later.
The site is absolutely gorgeous. I simply could not have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely awesome campsite! The location couldn’t be better—close to the ferry for easy access to Drummond Island, yet tucked away enough to feel completely private and peaceful. The views of Lake Huron and Strawberry Island are absolutely beautiful and make this spot even more special. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and an excellent communicator. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

This was by far my favorite camping trip. Everything was so clean, calm, serene, well put together, and gorgeous. We drove 7 hours just to spend 2 nights here and it was well worth it. The beauty of the site cannot be fully captured in pictures. Once we arrived, we didn’t even leave the site. So much to do with paddling, exploring strawberry island, walking along the shores and just enjoying the views. This is a one of a kind location. My two dogs had a blast and got to roam free the whole weekend. There is also just an overall safe feeling you get at this campsite.
Everything is perfect and well thought out. I hope to return!

This was one of the best hip camp spots I've ever experienced. The kayaking was amazing and the camper spot was super clean with electric . I felt safe with a gate lock and cameras.
The loons called out at night and the view of the stars was stunning. I can't wait to book and go back for more time cause 2 nights wasn't enough for me.

Heather’s place was a perfect stop off for us and had everything our family needed - hookups, views, fishing and space. It was quiet and we enjoyed chatting about the big boats that come through. Definitely an easy in and out if you’re traveling this way. Even had a place for our garbage which wasn’t much but appreciated nonetheless! Heather is friendly and a great host.

We had a wonderful experience at this spot and will 100% be back. We tent camped and comfortably had 4 tents, 2 shade tents and a bathroom shanty up w plenty of space to spare. The views are unbelievable and it’s secluded but close enough to town that a dollar store run only takes 10 minutes. The beach is rocky and shallow for kids and dogs. Theres also a sandy section for playing. The walkway to the beach is great for getting kayaks to and from water. The nearby islands made for fun adventures and rock hunting. There was plenty of wood left behind and the pit is beautifully placed near the water. I’d give this a 9/10 w my only wish being water hookup. There is also road noise, it’s not overly disruptive but does take a little away from the middle of the wilderness feel. Overall this was easy to get to, clean, beautiful, very reasonably priced and a wonderful experience for my family of 6 and 2 dogs.

I hope heaven is as beautiful as this campsite! We didn’t see another human the whole stay. The perfect place to relax in privacy and not see or hear anyone. The view is 10/10. We appreciate the opportunity to stay on this beautiful property.
