This is a rustic campsite without facilities or electricity. This property borders the South Charlotte River. It is in a very private location. You can drive into the camping areas. We are located 12 miles south of Sault Ste Marie just off of M-129. The property is for both tent camping and a parking place for RVs. There is a path you can drive on on the left 100ft from the road. You can set up anywhere along the cut grass area. There will be two white chairs and a small camp porta potty available for your use. There is a cut walking trail that forms a loop on the property.

Easy in/Easy out!

Very peaceful and secluded place to park for the night, not far off the big road. We got in after dark and Dale was kind enough to send us photos of the mailbox, driveway and where to park our camper van (his idea! Very helpful!) We left around sunrise, but this was exactly what we needed: a well-mowed, secluded and level place to park. Thanks Dale!

An Excellent Stay!

We enjoyed our stay with Dale on this early July trip to the UP. Beautiful star filled nights and sunrises— would recommend! Bring bug spray!
