This partially wooded site, set back from the main road 250’, offers privacy while also being within the boundaries of the small community of Paradise. Restaurants, groceries and food trucks are a short walk away. The beach or the stair’s viewing deck offer a great spot to watch the sun rise over the lake while having your morning brew. You can pick wild blueberries in July and August in the woods between your camper and the beach. We are close to Tahquamenon (Tuh-KWA-men-en) Falls, Tahquamenon River, Whitefish Point Shipwreck Museum, Crisp Point Lighthouse, and Rivermouth State campground/day park for boat launching and fishing. Potable water and 15/30 amp electric service are available. Since there are no bathroom facilities, we are accepting only self contained campers. Great getaway not too far from home but far enough to feel like an escape! The site was secluded yet still close to nearby towns for anything needed. Having electric hookups was a major plus. Perfect spot for a quiet adult getaway.

You truly are sitting lakefront. I sat on a couple of boulders and just watched the waves. So incredibly peaceful. Instructions were clear and directions were easy to follow. One thing I will note is that you truly are rural - there is a grocery store and a few food options, but it's limited. Of you are an early riser, know that many of the food establishments open later. The site is absolutely gorgeous. I simply could not have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely awesome campsite! The location couldn’t be better—close to the ferry for easy access to Drummond Island, yet tucked away enough to feel completely private and peaceful. The views of Lake Huron and Strawberry Island are absolutely beautiful and make this spot even more special. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and an excellent communicator. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a perfect spot to stay on your visit to the Upper Peninsula. It is conveniently located near a grocery store, convenience stores, and restaurants. Unfortunately, the food trucks were not open while we were there. You are a few short steps from the water on White Fish Bay and a sandy beach. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Superior Sunrises and had a great time! The place was easy to find and tucked away. You're very close to restaurants and stores which is great, but it's tucked back far enough to feel secluded. The deck overlooking Lake Superior was definitely our favorite part. Absolutely stunning! It was very nice having access to electricity and water. We didn't plan on using it, but it got pretty cold so we had to pull out our tent heater. The hosts were very helpful and created a great space for memories. We will absolutely be back in the summer!

Compared to the business and crowds of the nearby state campgrounds, this is an oasis. Also so fun that there are amenities like a small grocery store and a couple cafes/food trucks within walking distance.

This was by far my favorite camping trip. Everything was so clean, calm, serene, well put together, and gorgeous. We drove 7 hours just to spend 2 nights here and it was well worth it. The beauty of the site cannot be fully captured in pictures. Once we arrived, we didn’t even leave the site. So much to do with paddling, exploring strawberry island, walking along the shores and just enjoying the views. This is a one of a kind location. My two dogs had a blast and got to roam free the whole weekend. There is also just an overall safe feeling you get at this campsite. Everything is perfect and well thought out. I hope to return!

Paradise is the perfect name for this spot! Tucked in a little town yet feeling completely secluded, this campsite strikes the best balance of convenience and privacy. I loved being able to walk across the street to the grocery store, then return to a peaceful site with water and electric hookups plus access to a private sandy beach. The location made an ideal home base for exploring the area, and the bonus was the local food trucks—don’t miss the freshly caught whitefish and definitely grab the onion rings. 10 stars! I’ll absolutely be back.

They have everything you need from electric, water, picnic table, fire pit! And there’s a little store across the street if you need anything else!
