The terrain is hilly and scenic, offering abundant wildlife and hiking. Pets may be off-leash if supervised. Bonfires are permitted in fire rings, but caution is advised. Feel free to bring ATVs and dirt bikes for trail riding. Generators are allowed, and bonfire wood is provided, so there's no need to bring your own. Should you choose to camp outside designated sites, please clean up the area. Respect for others is paramount in this non-judgmental space, and mutual respect is expected. The campground welcomes tobacco and marijuana use; however, please dispose of all filters properly. The night sky here is a must-see, with stunning stars. Children are welcome but must always be accompanied by an adult. There's a gas station and dollar general less than 5 minutes away!!

Nice spot with a concrete pad not too far from 31. A bit of road noise, but it quieted down at night. I was there for a quick stay, so, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to enjoy the trails.

This was an amazing!!! Richard went above and beyond to make out stay great. Camper is really nice. Right on the river. Very quite and relaxing. One of the best things was the kayaks he let us use and dropped us off up stream. Highy recommend!!!!

Had a great stay! The pop-up camper is newer, very cozy, and clean. It was the dead of a very hot summer and I was still pretty cool at night. Richard was a kind and very helpful host -immediately took care of everything I needed. Site is in his large backyard, steps from the Little Manistee river. I'm a fly fishermen and got in a few hours of fishing during just a one night stay. Decent hole with Brown Trout and smallmouth right next to the site. Overall great experience.

The directions provided were outstanding, making it quite easy to locate the destination. Richard proved to be an exceptional host, demonstrating a high level of hospitality. The location itself was impressive—immaculately clean, private, and tranquil. The setup was beautifully arranged, complemented by a fantastic fishing spot. The camper was very comfortable and equipped with all the essentials, while the facilities were well-maintained. I highly recommend this experience.

We loved the cabin. It was clean and had enough space for our whole family. The hot tub and patio area are beautiful and relaxing. The property is very large and has beautiful trails. We could see Bear Lake in the distance, and it was a quick drive to the water. We absolutely want to return next year.

Richard was a great host. As a solo camper, I was nervous going out alone but Richard was very kind and gave me plenty of tips for fishing. He left me to do my thing which I appreciated. Even though it was hot, I still managed to get on a ton of fish. Fantastic spot if you are looking to get on some fish. Mosquitoes weren’t a problem!

Weekend Trip to Honey Creek (18+ only)
Richard was so flexible and open to letting us stay on his property on such short notice. Everything was set up for us; he even stayed around to show us the land once we got there.
So peaceful, and still felt cool on the hottest days with the fans in the camper, which is also really nice.
The outhouse is well taken care of; just bring some hand sanitizer with you!!
Richard was very kind and super cool and we definitely want to go back to him and explore some more!

Heather's land is so quiet and peaceful. We loved the trails and the pond and had a restful few nights. I highly recommend this spot for people who enjoy nature and solitude. Heather is wonderful to work with!
