Turtle Pond Site has a 12x30 foot level gravel pad and a fire pit on a small pond frequented by turtles, ducks, deer, birds, and even a beaver. There is a 100 year old Finnish Homestead a short walk down a mowed trail. Guests are encouraged to take a look, but please don't enter the buildings as their integrity is unknown.

It is 1 mile away from the #15 ATV/snowmobile trail, 6 miles from Keweenaw Bay (Lake Superior), 3 miles from Ojibiwa casino, 23 miles from Sturgeon falls (Ottawa National forest), to just name a few things to do. We have wild raspberry and black berry bushes all throughout the woods. There are trails in the woods for hiking as well.
