This is a nice little campsite on Lake Superior with plenty of beach to walk in both directions. We really enjoyed our late season camping trip and lucked out on the fantastic weather. Host was great and accommodating. We would love to stay again.

Great spot on a Great Lake! Hard to find privacy like this in the Porkies. We appreciated the outhouse, two picnic tables, and giant fire ring. Even got lucky to see Northern Lights. Will be back.

We had a great time at this property! Right on the beach with a couple different areas to set up camp, near the beach or in the wooded area. They had 2 picnic tables which helped out a lot with cooking and eating meals. The property is fairly close to neighbors and the road, but with the trees and greenery it felt pretty private. No cell service in the area whatsoever, but it gave us the chance to disconnect.

We loved our stay here! We backed pur truck bed camper right in to the easy to find driveway. We loved the beach for a fire, sunset, and beautiful night sky. Two picnic tables, clear easy paths, porta potty, and other small extra amenities. Dog friendly. We would definitely stay agian!

This was a truly lovely site. We enjoyed the privacy and setting up our tents on the sand. It was a windy day, but the layer of trees really made it comfortable and possible to still make a fire to cook over. We enjoyed watching the amazing sunset and relaxing in our hammocks as the stars came out. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful camp spot!!

We had a great experience staying at Tammy’s spot right on the shores of Lake Superior. Views were spectacular, with beach bonfires every night watching the sun go down and waking every morning to sunrise. Super close to all Porkies hikes and accessibility. Not to mention, Tammy is a really lovely host, very responsive, kind and helpful. Can’t recommend her and her place more. Piece of heaven here.

I could live at this campsite, it’s so beautiful! We enjoyed picnicking and campfires on the beach and it was so peaceful to hear the waves on the lakeshore as we went to sleep in our tent. Tammy is a very friendly and welcoming host. Would love to camp here again!

We spent 6 nights here, and had a great time! The view is amazing. We had plenty of room for 2 tents, and the layout of the site worked well for us. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed exploring. The shipwreck was fun to see. This is a great spot for bird watchers. We especially enjoyed the eagles.
I already miss the strolls on the beach and the sound of the waves. This is a special place, and Tammy is great!

Stunning beach with a view of the Porcupine mountains and a shipwreck to explore by kayak nearby. Sandy beach but it can be a little rocky in spots. The site is a gravel pad and we were able to back our 22’ camper in. Additional spot for tent camping closer to the beach that is sandy. The fire pit is on the beach which is a wonderful experience but it is about 100’ from the gravel pad. It rained before and during our stay and while the wooded area was wet, the camper and tent sites stayed dry. Enjoyed the beach walks and sunsets!

Beautiful property right next to the Porkies! Felt secluded but not too remote. The beach was a perfect combo of sand and rocks for rock hunting. Even found some Yooperlites! Tammy was very welcoming. Port-a-potty needed a little attention but other than that it was great :)
