There are other lake access points in the area such as Duchemin public boat launch. Only 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids, this property was established as a Youth Camp for 15 years is now a private event venue and campground, so it has nice amenities like FULL restrooms, a picnic shelter, and even a few small cabins that can be rented. Swimming beach is available in Lowell a few miles away. Fishing rivers and lakes are also in the area. (live bait in Saranac) Woods site and Open Area have a few different locations you can choose from. If woods or open shows booked already, please contact me. Additional fee of $20 per extra tent/camper that sleeps an adult. Picnic shelter is also available. Use my website to RSVP entire camp area for an event such as wedding.

We have a small diverse fiber herd of Jacob sheep and Nigora Goats along with some heritage Breed chickens including 1 Rooster who watches over the flock. A small group of Cayuga duck work their pest control magic as the snoodle around the entire property. These ducks go everywhere! There are also 2 barn cats, that might visit your camp site if you are traveling without dogs. we also host group of 24 Bee Hives. On the farm we grow a variety of veggies, flowers and Medicinals. We have plots of native woodland medicinals and a variety of other Perennials and Medicinals including Hemp and Cannabis on a very small scale. Everything is grown organically. We are also close to the Red Flannel Gun club, sometimes we hear guns. We are also very close to the Cedar Chase Golf Course if you like golf. About 10 minutes away is the renowned Muskegon River, mostly known for fly fishing and kayaking. Then about 15 minutes away is Baptist Lake, which has a very nice swimming area that goes from shallow to deep slowly, and also a nice picnic area. There is also Brooks Lake close by with a dock and public access. We are offering additional features available for rent. Please see our list for a variety of options!
