"Elysium Heritage Farm" is situated on 120 acres in Northeast, MI surrounded by woods, trails, ponds and canals. We are across the street from Little Long lake and right up the road from Budd Lake public boat launches. We have deeded lake access to Little Long Lake with use of our paddle boat and kayaks. We can provide parking with a boat, trailer, etc., but will need to be arranged prior to check-in.
There are several restaurants, delivery options, and a grocery store right down the road. There is also a putt putt golf, skiing and snow tubing at Snow Snake, arcade, batting cages, bowling, indoor golf, ax throwing, beaches and Wilson State Park.
If you have side-by-sides, quads, jeeps, snowmobiles, or dirt bikes, there are endless options with groomed trails in the area for you to ride all day long.

We had such a great time and would definitely comeback for longer next time . Kim was very welcoming and let us come on her property to see the animals and gave as backstory on how this property has come to be what it is today. Such a beautiful spot and a cozy cabin. Kim was very responsive and had everything we needed to have a relaxing and peaceful trip. 10/10

The host go above and beyond for accommodating their guest. The cabin literally has everything that you need and all you have to bring is yourself and food! The lake is a short distance away and the water is clear and beautiful. We were able to enjoy lots of family time on the water and the cabin has tons of outdoor games to play as well and great outdoor seating even when it rains, it’s still beautiful highly recommend this cabin for your family, fun getaways even your fur babies. Thank you again to the host. We loved our time here.

3 nights at Twin Peaks By The Lakes Retreat
I did not personally stay in the Wanderer's Hideaway (I booked it in combination with Cindy and Travis's other property) but two of my friends slept there on our trip and said it was comfortable and worked well for their needs. The firepit area is lovely and relaxing in a hammock among the trees to read was so nice (plenty of space to add extra hammocks as well). Lots of room for parking (especially if you're also renting the larger cabin that backs right up to this one) and their dog did very well inside.

I rented both this property and Cindy and Travis's other listing, the Wanderer's Hideaway, for a group trip with friends. It worked out super well, with the two sites backing up to each other and the spacious, fenced-in yard (perfect for our two dogs!) inbetween. We had plenty of space for group activities and meals outside, loved the inclusion of the paddle boat and kayaks, and everyone enjoyed sitting on the front and back porches throughout the weekend.
Would highly recommend a trip to the beach at Wilson State Park if you're wanting to swim - the lake access is more suited to just launching the small boats. Also just a warning that both staircases are a little precarious and that the only way to access the backyard from the house requires walking through the master bedroom (this wasn't clear from the photos).
However, if you're planning to spend almost all of your time outside in the backyard like we did, this an excellent spot! Cindy and Travis provided so many fun amenities - we kept finding more and more fun things in the shed to use.
Hosts were quick and easy to communicate with and provided lots of detailed directions so we had all the information we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time. The cabin was nice and had everything we needed. The large fenced in yard was perfect for my Dogs to run around. The boat launch was close and the beach at Wilson state park was nice to hang out at during the day and use our wave runners. The only thing I would change is to add a gate near the side entrance of the house. The only way to the back yard is through the master bedroom or you have to walk down the stairs and around the house to gate.

We had a wonderful time at Cindy and Travis’s Cabin. It is not only fully equipped, renovated, and confortable, but also full of little details to enjoy and remember. We will definitively stay again. We truly enjoyed our time there and got a little carried away with the painting-a-rock exercise. If you stay, don’t forget to do it! (the bar is high).

Wanderers Hideaway was a cute and cozy place with the most fitting name! My boyfriend and I both thought it was the perfect place for a simple weekend stay with a taste of the outdoors. The electric fireplace maintained the cozy and comforting vibe especially during the winter, and having a small kitchenette was very useful for making our meals! Cindy and Travis have a very well thought out little place, with a cute guestbook everyone should make sure they sign!!

Imagine a cabin that feels like a warm hug in the middle of a winter wonderland—that's Twin Peaks by the Lake Retreat for you! Our adventure kicked off with a potential reservation hiccup, but Cindy, the superhero owner, swooped in and saved the day with her incredible patience and kindness.
This isn't just a cabin; it's a portal to winter magic. We spent our days ice fishing on the frozen Little Long Lake and Budd Lake and unleashing our inner kids on the epic backyard sledding hill. The laughter echoed louder than the crackling fireplace, and every moment felt like a perfect snapshot of family fun.
Cozy? More like ridiculously comfortable. Homey? It felt like we'd discovered our second home. When it was time to leave, we all wore the same pouty face—wishing we could press pause and stay just a little bit longer.

We had a very nice stay! The cabin had everything we needed and it gave our family plenty of space. The living room was very cozy with the fireplace. The large fenced in backyard was a definitely a bonus so our fur babies could run around and not have to be on a leash or tied up. We would definitely stay here again.
